Ben, I'm a 67 year old, Army Vet suffering from cancer. I've been watching your vids for years. I've learned from you and watched you grow as a content creator and more importantly as a human being. Your vids have helped me immensely when times have been difficult as a result of treatment. You are a good guy, having fun doing what you love and sharing it with the world. Be proud. You have earned it. Fuck those haters who are nothing but envious of what you have and what you will achieve. Thank YOU for all you give to all of us. Tight lines my friend.

I hear ya brother! Watching Ben was an amazing escape for me while caring for my Mother the last 6 months of her life. I remember his Toledo Bend win and Mom had a few days left at that point. It was one of the last genuine happy smiles and even a giggle as I showed her that he was heading to the Classic! Ben can never know how much he impacts the common guy! Hope you have an awesome summer fishing! I imagine it takes some gettin used to, to work a trolling motor with one leg, but you got this, bro! Tight lines, man!

Hey Ben my name is Jack Waldrop Jr. I have been a loyal MFR. Since I can remember. It takes balls and brains to do what you have been doing. Now I have been a respectable bass fisherman here in Austin Texas for most of my adult life. I am 45 years old this upcoming July. I haven't been able to stay in the fishing like I used to be do to a recent battle with Hart disease. This will come as a surprise to most that know me. I have some experience in this most recent of tournaments that you endured. I think your mindset is on spot. It is hard sometimes and sometimes it can be easy to mentally and physically deal first hand with personal exchanges on the hole spot. You know already though that your skills are honed for this as you've already more than showed you know what your doing and even if you show and give up most of the juice anyone rivalry that posts up on you or your spots they probably won't be able to make it happen like u know how. I've been a lake Austin BIG BASS specialist for many years living on the lake for most of my life. After an amazing amount of years of winning there I realized that I can have competitors practically in my boat during the tournament show them while slaying fish rt. In front of them they still can't get a hold of what's up. Ultimately I have jealous Haters or friends for ever after. Almost anyone who's haten is really just jealous of you. I consider you one of the best fishermen I've ever seen, don't let this. Crap get to you, your going to make it all the way bro. I know it. Keep doing what your doing don't worry about everyone else. They will be jealous Haters or they will respect you like me. Hit me up check me out if you want tocome to lake Austin or lake Travis I'd would be honored to go fishing with you bro. Go kick the you know what out of them. Bassmasters Classic Qulifier. Good luck bro. They still gotta catchem even after you teller how.

I'm from KCMO right below where Ben is from in the 402 and I can tell you with absolute certainty that he is an honest and stand up kinda man because of where he was raised!!!! Here in the heart of the country we have morals and ethics that aren't found in too many other places on the planet! It's unfortunate but it's also rather awesome! The other thing about living here in the middle of nowhere is just how BORING it truly is!!! That is exactly what pushes people to find something they love doing and once you figure that out we use the amazing amount of down time we have to hone our skills and use em to become something special! That's just what our man Ben is too, he is the OG MF'ER!!!!

Positivity,,,I have been fishing my local bass club no for three years. This year I got voted in as President. I have never placed in the money. I just love to fish. My daughter is my partner and this year we finally won a tournament. Landed a 6.92 a couple 3; and 4. Everyone at the ramp was just so happy for us.....That is what it was all about. I must say though that I did lose a 9+ just 4 casts after the 6.92. the side swiped it, not a line break. I am 58 and have learned a ton just watching your videos in the past 6-8 months. Last few years I've suffered from small bouts of depression, then I got to watching RU-vid videos on fishing and ran across your channel as well as Justin Royal's channel, it got me back into fishing after about a 15 year absence. When I'm on the water ALL other thoughts or problems go away, the only focus is getting the next bite, I've tried so hard to implement your techniques to catch larger fish but it hasn't panned out just yet. But that's ok because at the end of the day I look back at what an amazing day it was. I know one day I'll get on the big bite, I will not give up. Pulling for you in the opens and wish you and your family a blessed day sir!

I'm a medically retired Army vet. I'm 35, at 24 I was injured in Afghanistan. I'm a triple amputee, lost both my legs above the knee, and I lost my right hand. Just have limited movement in my right arm. I hated fishing for a few years after injury. But little by little I've been more motivated with fishing every year. I just recently started watching your channel earlier this year or late last year. And something about your channel motivated me to go out and purchase a boat. It's an old but trusty 1990 Sea Nymph FM161 this spring. And I've been taking out my kids on the lake and we've been having a lot of fun catching fish. Don't worry about haters. After that first Open this year I knew I had to re-learn how to fish tournaments so started looking on the internet for answers and found your RU-vid channel. Watching your videos have taught me and I’m sure thousands of other people how to find fish and fish with glyde baits and big swim baits. So far I’ve spent over $1,500 on glyde baits and sixth sense crank baits and jigs. I am sure there are others that have spent much more. The money spent proves you are good for the sport and fishing industry. Hopefully Hollywood or some other industry won’t pull you away from bass fishing. You would be sorely missed.

I have fished local kayak tournaments for a couple of years and this year i decided to chase something bigger. My first ever big tournament was the MS Bass Nation back in May. I won the tournament and qualified for the 2024 Bassmaster Kayak Championship. Keep chasing your dream Ben. You are inspiring some of us to chase bigger things too.

You are handling, what I thought you might have trouble with in the big arena of money and competition, absolutely like a well raised man. Your parents may not have been rich, just like mine weren’t, but they gave you Ben what cannot be purchased at any cost!! Integrity my friend!! Watched the videos you discussed and both individuals acted as men. Keep following your dreams, and we’ll handle the cheering section. You stay the course, and you’re becoming a GOOD MAN in my book. By the way, great fish in this video! And thanks for carrying this old fisherman along with you on this journey. It’s been a long journey since the video you decided to do this full time!! 😁😁👍👍

11lbs 1oz is my PB from out here in Washington state. I'm only 21, I like you have came from nothing. I started fishing for bass when I was around 8 years old. My single mother was never able to afford the cool equipment that I got to see people on youtube use, all I had was a 6'6" medium cheapo combo, and whatever kind of tackle I could muster up. I dropped out of highschool when I was just a sophomore to start working for my fishing gear and to be able to learn more about these fish and how to target them. Growing up watching content creators like you and a few others was my only way of truly learning how to fish. Pairing the knowledge that I've learned from RU-vid with my own experiences on the water that I was able to work for enabled me to have some of the most memorable moments and success that I feel a lot of people will never be able to enjoy. That I am thankful for.

Thanks for putting yourself out there Ben. Being a fellow Nebraskan when I found your channel 5-6 years ago it changed my entire life. I had never really fished growing up so I didn't know where to even start. Your channel gave me great confidence to start my journey and boy has it been one. My wife thinks I am crazy with all the gear and tackle I have acquired over the years starting with a lot of 6th sense gear and now a sprinkle of a little bit of everything. I watched BTL and saw some of the comments being shared. Of course there is a lot of keyboards warriors out there as you know but I guarantee most of those folks wouldn't take the leap of faith you did. And there is no way they are letting us all into their lives the way you have. You got so many people out here rooting for you Ben. I have already talked about coming down to Grand Lake for the Bassmaster Classic to see you lay some wood in the elites. Keep on doing your thing and we will all keep showing up and showing out for you! Lets go MFers! PS Coleslaw is pretty cool too

First off I would like to say something positive about you, Ben. I haven't followed you for very long but I watch your video's every chance I get and you have inspired me so much even at age 37. So thank you. My biggest bass is 7.46 lbs in Utah and 8.5 in Mexico when I was fairly new to fishing for big bass. Fishing is a true passion for me and fishing for a living is my dream.

Just started fishing in February and you are my #1 RU-vidr for fishing content. Love all you do and the transparency. Rooting for you as you continue your journey. Also… LOVE the rod, reel, line, and bait pop up that comes when you pick up a new setup. As a beginner I love seeing what pros like you are using. If this is a test run for putting that in the videos (first time I’ve noticed it), please keep it up! 🙌🏼🎣

Old timer here from the Omaha area also. Back in the 60's I learned to fish from dad setting throw lines on the Missouri river, catching bullhead at farm ponds, fishing panfish at Manawa, and making carp dough ball to brag about having the best. I know how hard you had to work and dedicate yourself to fish full time. Now, just go be consistent and do as coach Osborne always said. Do the best you can and you will feel good about it. More than winning.

Switched to Back to Bass Fishing from Golf after 20 years when the Pandemic Started in 2020... I had to re-learn everything and started watching Videos on RU-vid.. That's how I became a Loyal MF'r... Since then, I recently been Fishing with my Twin Brother which has been the Best of times.. I purchased a 6" Trace Swimbait from 6 Sense and he caught an 8+ that got off at the boat and I caught (2) 4's in just 3 trips with it... That is 100% all because of you Ben... TYVM Brother! Im more of a shore pounder, but have learned a lot about offshore fishing from your videos. I’m working on improving that aspect of my fishing….I still suck at it, but I’m trying to improve. Lol Keep up the great content and I’ll keep watching and supporting you on your journey! Thanks! Jason

I also know how it feels to be on the other side of jealousy. Dealt with it over the years. Don’t let the haters change what you’re doing here… which is opening up a whole new world of fishing. Shake the haters and keep on driving it home buddy. Also, love your signature rods!

Since then and with your advice even with subpar equipment I have significantly improved offshore fishing.

Hands down my favorite fishing channel to watch. Just watching the way you film and produce content is incredible, and you are so transparent with your viewers, its over the top educational. I'll see you at the St. Lawrence open! Juggle Minnows crush up here as well, Ive got to have 30-40 packs between my boat and tackle room. On the positive note/comment: as a business owner, fishing is where i'm able to recenter myself and regain my sanity after a long week at work. It helped me cope with the loss of my father @ the age of 28, and loss of my grandfather @ the age of 15. Two people who got me into fishing, fishing is my way to connect with them even though they are gone. Casting a line is hands down the best therapist money can buy.

I grew up fishing but got away from it to chase business and money. My son is 12 and I realized I was missing some key moments with him that I experienced and that a boat a few poles and 1 on 1 conversations could bring . I bought a boat this last year and we fish at least 3 to 4 times a month and we laugh , talk about life and share some cool experiences together. Content like yours is allowing us to locate fish faster and that’s always more fun. Love the content anyone that is chasing their dreams .

Most of my best memories have come from fishing. Whether it was with my granddad, my dad, or my buddies. There was only 4 or 5 lures i would throw. And did nothing special. Growing up watching Bill Dance, Hank Parker, and Roland Martin, i really didn't understand alot of the techniques. After i met my wife i just fished for catfish, bluegills, and crappie. Really didn't catch a bass unless i was icefishing. Years later my son started to really get into bass fishing. Watching him try new things got me back into it. I eventually came across your channel. The way you explained stuff help me get back into it and help him. And try stuff that i would never tried. It lead me to catch my biggest bass of 7lbs 12 oz out of a small town reservoir in west central Illinois. And my boy was there to help me land it. Keep doing you and enjoy this crazy thing called life.

I’ve always fished and have great fishing stories with my dad. Started out catching bluegills and catfish as that was my dad’s passion. I incorporated bass fishing. I’m from Indiana and never fished outside indiana other than Kentucky lake and lake reel foot. I’m now 60…Ben I don’t know why but I just like you. You remind me of home and myself…even though I never fished in crocs lol…You catch more big bass than anyone I’ve seen. I learn a lot and will be cheering you on. Many bass in the 31/2 to 4 1/2 but my biggest was when I was 17. My dad was catching bluegill from the bank. I walked to a black of creek with 6lb test, on 5 foot ultra light and a Diawa spinning reel all bought at 3D, which was the Walmart of 1970s. I was throwing a 1/16 ounce white caribou hair jig just trying to catch 10 inch bass, bluegill and rock and then BAM…a 6 lb bass nailed and I fought her for 7 minutes on that 6lb test around willow bushes….my dad said he hadn’t seen anything like it. My biggest bass ever. I miss him Keep fishing Ben and being real…..I’m going to buy one of your med hvy MFer rods

I do understand sponsors are necessary to do the tour full time but geez sine of these guys practically have tattoos of their sponsors. I just reall appreciate down to earth content. There’s no way I could follow the tour myself, but you bring us along as if we’re all co-anglers in the boat with you.
