Thank you, Sir. This lecture like the previous ones is also very insightful and interesting. It also clarified a misunderstanding on my part that only a fictional work can be given a structuralist reading. Plus, I had no idea if something like masculine/feminine rhyme existed. Need to learn about it. Can you recommend me a book or any other resource to understand the mechanics and other structural features of a poem. I mean meter, rhyme, rhythm etc. Would be grateful.

Yes, you can. Just read up some more on structuralism and see which particular theorists you want to use. Sorry, I cannot help with individual projects.

How does inter-literariness affect our interpretation of texts? Sir do u have any session regarding the above mentioned question

I have not recorded anything specifically on it but a lot of what I do is in line with the practice of inter literariness. I will see if I can reread Jakobson and others to further hone my thoughts on it and then record something on it.

I actually thought the world and contemporary ideas were part of the structure that Structuralists analyze. Does this mean that Post-Structuralism is an attempt to distance yourself from all the super technical aspect and instead make a more wholistic analysis?

Thank you. Sorry, I don’t think so questions of such complexity can he answered in comments. Mostly, I don’t see post structuralism as one single monolithic response to structuralism.
