This dope! I seen this before but I wanna ask a question: I formate my beats somewhat this way building it up except that second verse part I was told to have like transition where beats is somewhat different but breaks down but stay in same key of main beat then build it back up to like the hook part. I’m just trying to see which way or is it as long as u build it up every 4 to 8 bars and break it down a little and build it back up then the stinger?

Great track Jesse, Thank you for really breaking it down and explaining the reason and the process and purpose. Well done my friend. I got a lot of info from it that will definitely enhance my music production.

Thanks for breaking this down. I've been working on ideas, but I'm coming from a loop-based style. This has motivated me to try new structures and breakdowns in my tracks.

that's a great track Jesse you definitely know your stuff, mainly what I'm listening for is the transitions the Rises into the drop and then the build-up to the next part that's the main thing that I'm working on myself how to go from one genre to another genre with having the right element leading out of it drop then going to the new thing but building up once that new thing starts.

It's super helpful to see your arrangement file as you're playing through this. It's a shame that you're not able to do it often but obviously your rationale makes total sense. Keep up the good work and hopefully I'll see you in the syndicate reasonably soon. Just attempting to justify the outlay to myself at the moment!

Jesse, thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I've really enjoyed the the content that I've seen you put out that I've had the pleasure to watch, and found it pretty informative. Hearing audio examples alongside it in this example is great. I realize you can't always share this stuff, but maybe you could write one song a month for your paid followers wherever they come from. Just a freebie from me. I think it's another avenue you've probably already steered towards. The ears-on learning is really great content for fellow producers. But I digress... I was wondering if you tend to write your songs for sync licensing with planned breaks and silences in mind for the end user to be able to mix with, or do you tend just to make sure there are breaks here and there somewhere in the piece, if not the intro, and then make stings and queues after the fact? To clarify... do you write with certain numbers in mind at the intro (as in 15, 20, 30 seconds, etc) to have silence built in for edits, or do you edit with wherever the breaks find themselves into the music after it's done? The reason that I ask this is because I am so accustomed to writing a full song as an artist. I think the reason I am asking this is because I am so accustomed to writing music from an artists perspective on (generally) a dance label. I think a lot in terms a lot of tempo/bpm's. So I feel constricted by trying to force a song to fit to a certain 'commercial friendly' time constraint. How do you get around this, or work with this, or push through this to force things to be happy for television in regards to timing?

Great sample into your mindset during creation, thank you. Also btw, quite badassery on the composition! deathstar is coming indeed \m/ One small side note though, that triplet solo drum fill, did you experiment with a few diff samples on that? Being that I am the first time listener & removed from the track (your baby) it felt like the sound itself came from a different place... but maybe thats good? that is by catching the ear. just a perspective thought. either way, love it, Keep on keepin on J.
@SyncMyMusic

Thank you sir. I intentionally wanted that fill to take us away from the feel of the bridge and then slam us into the EDM style chorus.

Wow thanks for these videos dude. I've always loved music, and have had a drive to make a living from it for ages, but never had a clue how I could go about doing so. Writing is what I love to do more than anything, and your channel is opening my eyes to how I can go about honing my craft to the point of making some cash with it. I've never felt like my dreams were realistic until now, but I think with some effort I'd be pretty good in this realm of music. I like your track here, and even more love the way you get into it and groove to it. I'll be watching a whole lot of you in the coming weeks and learning everything I can.

Hey Jesse, is it possible to send tracks to libraries, as well as, use them for RU-vid, soundcloud, spotify, physical album, etc... Would libraries be interested in a song that's already out and about, that is being monetized elsewhere?
@andrezchavez6022
@andrezchavez6022 6 лет назад
That depends if the music library wanted to sign the track exclusively. I know that if you sign a track with a non exclusive library it would not matter if that track is out and about. I could be mistaken. Good question!
@SyncMyMusic
@SyncMyMusic 6 лет назад
You just have to let them know when you submit the tracks, Some libraries will say no - they will want exclusive rights to distribute your tracks. Others might be ok with it. Open communication about your situation is ALWAYS the best way forward.

How long does it take you to put a track like this together? Is it a constant work from beginning to end, finishing it in one shot? Or do you write it in pieces, some time working on it, then leaving it for some time to sit?
@SyncMyMusic
