I'm pretty sure most often cats can't cry when they're upset. They cry to get rid of things in their eyes and when they're ill, not when they're upset. So the cat is literally unable to cry to show they're in pain. Their furrowed brow and clearly upset expression is all that can show that they're in pain. They looked really fearful the entire time and it's really upsetting because there's no way for them to convey that they seriously want help.

I would have found the stuck cat scene funny if the cat was just acting silly/dumb but that really looked as though it had to hurt. The cat clearly wasn't enjoying itself

Not normally the type to animal care bash but that cat clearly needed help getting its claw loose. If it's claws are that long and getting stuck, the owner should either give them more scratch toys, trim their nails or let them go outside. Not just pull out a camera.

Amber Kearney Probably did, the leg is not supposed to be able to bend to the other side, must have dislocated at the shoulder. It also obviously was in pain, the cat went to higher ground so it wouldn't pull as much.

Fun fact: cats don't actually have a ball joint in their shoulders like humans do. Their front legs are only attached to the rest of the skeleton through a collection of muscles and ligaments. This is part of the reason why their front legs are so flexible... So no, the cat was not going to dislocate his front leg. It's not possible for them to do so... But having said that, it was still cruel to leave him trapped like that and the struggling had to hurt. That video wasn't funny to me.

Silent Smile all they had to do was pick the cats paw up gently and the nail gets unstuck. My cats have gotten stuck before just for a couple seconds and I go to help bc it’s dangerous and my female cat gets her nails clipped less often bc she rolls in circles screeching bloody murder and wiggles away like she’s being tortured. I learned from that mistake and my younger cat I started messing and pushing his nails out as a kitten so he sits calmly and allows me to clip his now.

Nemesis1911 Yeah, I hate it when people yell abuse when there is none too. But the two things, well I guess it would be three, that bother me are 1) when people torment their animals trying to get them to do something "funny", and I mean honestly torment them, in a mean or cruel way. 2) When the person knowingly allows their animal to get into a situation where they can be injured, or in the case of this video, doesn't help get them out of such a situation. 3) Plain old physical abuse/neglect. I don't tend to over react, but this video pissed me off, and I was sorry to see it here. Usually this channel is really good about not having any of those three things I mentioned.

Sleep deprivation is recognized as torture by the Geneva Convention. The bird was propping itself up against the remote to be secure while sleeping, its breast snug against the perfectly sized remote. I got as far as Deisel and the box, which went on for too long for there to be any humor. An animal wandering around with its head or paw caught in something, is only funny if help is immediately forth coming, it falls over or self releases from the snag. WTF was going on with the cat with the snagged claw? The whole thing was like a rejected video that someone accidentally published. #BRoll

I really glad I'm not the only person pissed at the sadistic as swipe that recorded their cat risking pulling a claw out....that shit really dies happen you know...and it's incredibly dangerous. I wasn't there to help my kitten and she ended up breaking her leg on a fence. So if you think it doesn't happen or is rare your just thick. Now she only has 3 legs because when cats break a leg they either get put down or their leg removed. It's a serious thing that shouldn't be laughed at.

ThatDudeWithBoobs : Yes he is, but I bet if someone came around the corner in a car and he got hit, she would be the first person to jump on the driver instead of realizing it was her fault the dog was walking around the parking lot unable to see where he was going...WHAT is wrong with people that they can only find humor and joy in someone else's misfortune. Someone else in the video even said the obvious to her. I'm sure that probably otherwise she takes great care of Diesel. But animals (especially domesticated ones) have a measure of self-esteem as well as humans. Would you allow one of your children to have done this for so long without putting a stop to it? It's not that it wasn't cute at first, but it was the length of time and where you allowed it to happen that I take issue with.

Dawn Smith Of course it does. Just like humans, obese animals can develope all kinds of deseases, diabetes and chronic pain among others. Animal's body isn't made for carrying overweight. Plus being that much limited in movement makes them also suffer. Feeding your pet too much is just as abusive as not feeding it enough. When keeping a pet you need to support its natural needs for it to be a happy, healthy pet.

Some of these comments are actually people saying that everyone else is "triggered", when they are actually getting triggered just by comments saying that cat needed help. Having an opinion doesn't make you triggered. Or maybe it does - maybe every person who's ever lived and breathed is triggered. In that case, why point it out? lol

Cherry I absolutely hate when people misuse the term "triggered." It means that a person with PTSD encountered a reminder of their trauma. It doesn't simply mean being angry or upset. I can't stand ignorance about mental illness.

ptsd is not a mental illness...it's a psychological injury, and you can heal from it. And I agree about the misuse of the word, but honestly, don't put your energy in there, it won't make them stop. Unless you have (c)ptsd, one will never know what triggered really means.. Hope you have a good day.

Uh, PTSD IS a mental illness. Look it up my friend. "Mental illness refers to a wide range of mental health conditions - disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behavior." PTSD affects your moood, thinking and behavior, therefore it is a mental illness. Suffering trauma causes a physical shift in the brain which is terribly difficult to get rid of, sufferers of PTSD merely learn to cope with it as all people with mental illness try to do.
