After the driver had finished his lunch break he went to fire up the bus, however it didn't want to start and he then left it for 5 minutes before attempting to start it again. This Solo has a tendency of cutting out after it has been fired up after lunch time.

Yer. These Cummins ones do take quite a long time to fire up, despite this they are faster than the Mercedes engine solo. This solo is pushed to its limits day in day out. I have heard some Cummins solos in the same fleet start up much faster. This solo was of for a while, a month ago due to problems.

This one was recently in the depot getting some repairs, Run's great now. It had a dodgy starter motor which has now been replaced, Run's a trick now.

It still takes forever to start up, it also starts a lot of the time ok and then cuts out shortly after the driver has fired her up. It seems to have always had problems at starting up this one. I have heard other 55 plate cummins solos in the same fleet start up really quick compared to this one.

It's fine with starting now, Had it earlier - It's been off for quite a while as the driver who usually has it over darlington has been complaining about its heating

+olivereltoro Oh really. That would explain why its been of since Wednesday. As the driver is on it 6 days a week his name Is Doug. Probably overheats as he canes it all day. Do you talk to a driver at Scarlet band or something was it service today?.

Has about 400,000-600,000 miles on it, not very unreliable.
