Unboxing a new doll! During the World Doll Day promo American Girl had, I could not pass up on getting another doll for my face mold collection. I was so excited to add this doll to my collection finally! She's perfect and I could not be happier.
I reviewed this fresh iteration of her (does she have a star foot? stay tuned) and one of her outfits. I talk about the name I chose for the doll, since I always rename them. Bonus - watch me struggle!

She's very pretty and I love that you said, "If you see something wrong with her, don't. tell. me." Yes! If you're asking, then sure...but unless asked, we never need to fault-find with someone else's doll. FWIW, I genuinely think she is lovely.

Your Kaya is so pretty! Don’t worry about her hair. I couldn’t even see it. Kaya’s hair is fun to style so maybe you can take out her braids and re-do them. My Kaya was found at a thrift store and I love her so much. She is my most cuddly doll. Enjoy❤Her name is beautiful. 💕

Thank you so much! I definitely will take her braids out eventually! I kept my Molly in her original braids the entire time I had her out as a kid. When I got her back out I redid her braids and think I did a good job so I probably can with this doll too. Or other fun styles!

I’ll say it again.. your Kaya doll is STUNNING and I love her new name! I was a huge fan of Avatar and especially the water tribe as well so her middle name is my favorite. Also.. I need a shirt like yours! I love it 😍

Haha thank you! Yes I'm quite obsessed with my Kaya! Especially considering there was only 4 available to start with! I'm enamored! Haha yes we need to arrange getting you a shirt. 😊 avatar is soooo good! I had never seen it before Dan showed it to me and now we've watched it several times together and I love it

i've had my kaya in that pow wow dress since january lol she's just so beautiful in it i can't bring myself to change her. congrats on your kaya doll !! she's gorgeous

Thank you! It's quite a special dress! I got it earlier in the year in anticipation of getting Kaya at some point. For now she's in a more casual dress but I had a fun photo shoot with the pow wow one!

It was suchhhh a struggle! But omg I'm in love with her! I don't think I've fawned over a brand new doll this much in a while. Maybe Nova (120). But that was nearly a year ago!!

Do not undo her braids I took my childhood Kaya's braids out a long time ago and her hair is just ruined. I have had issues with her hair since I took out her pigtail braids.

Eventually they'll come out but I think I'll put it off until they get messed up! Lol but I'm so sorry that happened to your Kaya 😢
