31-Day Walk with Jesus
Heyy guys, I'm so excited! This is the start of the challenge. So here is all the information:
Every day we will read one chapter (If you want to do more, please by all means go ahead, but the minimum is 1 chapter). I suggest you get a notebook/journal to document this process. One of the ways God speaks is through his Word, so be ready.
Tonight write down what you are expecting from this challenge it could be healing, deliverance, anything (it's between you and God). At the end of the challenge, you will look at your list and see what change has occurred. If certain things do not happen, don't worry it wasn't God's will or his timing. This is the order of books that we are reading.
- John, Mark, Romans, Philippians, 1&2 Thessalonians

my struggle is living in a small house with seven people, two of which are younger than 8 and need near constant requests fulfilled. it’s llore so learning how to concentrate despite my “alone time” being in kitchen with several other people having conversations.

I love that God is not limited to a certain spot in our home. As you go through your day whether you’re at school, grocery shopping, taking a shower just talk to Him. He just wants you to talk to Him and Acknowledge His presence throughout the day. God loves you so much ❤️🙏🏾

Hello I need help with something for some reason most of the time when i spend time with God I get really angry and I realize that suddenly everyone wants to enter to the room I'm spending time with , or a really loud sound suddenly happens and it scares me and it makes me furious ( when I'm concentrated in something I hate distraction because it makes me lose concentration) or some other stuff happens which makes me stop praying. What should I do

This sounds like a spiritual attack from the enemy that is trying to prevent you from getting closer to God. What I would do is research this and find prayers against it or pray your own prayers! Hope this helps:) Also look at what you are consuming (media and stuff). If you are watching or allowing songs that blatantly speak against God’s nature, then I would consider sacrificing this to Him. I don’t want to sound strict. I used to listen a lot to Lana del Rey and Taylor Swift (research them), and I didn’t realize it, but the content was clogging my ears. They made it harder to relate to God(which in turn made me angrier). Yes I know the lyrics are appealing, and you probably relate to them. But what about your spirit? What are you feeding the Holy Spirit you lived inside of you? You can’t have both or your flesh and God will always wrestle. I realized I could not have both if I wanted to grow closer to the Most High. Of course God is omnipotent, but this is about you as well. As also this doesn’t only apply to songs, it could apply to friends, tv shows, maybe even some foods. Your body is a holy temple. You are special; God wouldn’t be speaking this to you if you weren’t. And I want you to know that I relate to you as well. I understand, and it isn’t easy❤️❤️

I agree with what starwilson said earlier. I would like to add that our quiet time shouldn’t be limited to one spot. God wants us to acknowledge His presence throughout the day. Whether you’re in your room alone or driving to school, or going shopping. Just talk to him. Tell him how your day is going, things you’re struggling with, etc. God knows all things but He wants a relationship with us. God loves you so much ❤️

Great question! Prayer sets the stage for your quiet time. Going before God with a humble heart. Thanking him for the day, repent for anything you’ve done (known and unknown), and asking that the Holy Spirit gives you insight on what the scriptures are saying. Praying that God May communicate with you through the Word. One of the main way God speaks is through the scriptures because the Word of God is active and sharper than a double edge sword (Hebrews 4:12). In terms of where to start when it comes to reading the Bible I have a challenge/playlist on my page “31 day walk with Jesus” and it shows you the order of books you can ready to get you started. Thank you so much i really search to seek some idea and teachings on how to be have a quiet time.. because i want to learn everything on how to ro be a servant of God..i want Him to arrest me, captivate me i want to follow the footsteps of Jesus i want to ser e God for the rest of my life 😭 i want to pay Him back for his goodness faithfulness that He continually gave me 😭 i want to payback the sacrifice He has done for my life 😭 but im struggling how and what is the right way,i want to dig more to deepen my faith to Him because i think is not enough, Please help me Lord..see my desire in my heart i always ask You that😭 renew my heart restore my entire being my spirit and my soul, i consecrate my life to You please use me use this life Father God God the Son and God the Holy Spirit😭 in Jesus name Amen 🙏

Hi, I’m happy you found the video helpful! Jesus just wants a relationship with you, He loves you 🥺. We can't payback what he's done in our life. Everyone’s quiet time varies depending on their schedule and how much time they can spend. The overall message is to spend time in the Word and in the presence of God. It could be in your room, on your drive to work, while you’re doing chores, etc. as you go through your day welcome the Holy Spirit. Spend time with your father 🥹

It really depends. Some days I have more time than others. I don’t necessarily focus on the time but just being in his presence. I have to stay connected because when I miss my quiet time I don’t feel the same 🥺 try to focus on making it apart of your daily routine whether that’s 10 min, or an hour. Spend time with your father 🤍

But i have a question like i always want to have quality time with God but i also like doin stuff for fun like basketball or other stuff but like when i do other activities i feel bothered nd need help bc idk if i should b spending time with God all day or like morning nd after noon a routine or something

I have experienced what you are experiencing. I've felt that way until God showed me how to balance it all. When i first gave my life to God i felt like i needed to spend 4 hours a day in my word and studying, which is good but can become a religious practice rather than a sacrificial time set aside to genuinely know Gpd. You should prioritize making time for God daily, you may not be able to set aside the same amount of time daily but it is keeping God in your mind and allowing his word daily to direct your ways. It is not so much the quantity of God but the Quality of time spent in God presence. We live within the constraint of time but a thousand years is as one day and one day is as a thousand years to God. Just think how much time it is to God if you spend the first hour of your day with him. Start small, manageable, if you struggle with praying long, pray for 5 -10 mins genuinely, and read for 30 minutes - starting in the Gospels, when you read dont try to read it like a book but take your time, chapter by chapter, read at a place where you can understand and reflect on how to apply the word to you. As you read the word, the word should be reading you. You will see a relevation of things about yourself that may not be in alignment with God. Some days I spend time doing devoted studies, some days i just lay there and mediate, listen to messages etc.

Dylan, what a great question and I believe many people struggle with the same thing! The biggest thing I’ve learned over the years, is God just wants a relationship with you. Matthew 6:33 talks about seeking God first in all you do. That looks like praying first thing in the morning or before you play basketball saying a prayer in your heart asking God to give you strategy to win the game. He wants you to acknowledge His presence throughout the day. It’s not necessarily the amount of time you spend but the quality. Someone may spend 3 hours in the presence of God and be distracted and not have the right heart posture. While someone else just spends 10 min and God is pleased because they humbled themselves before Him. When you’re having a rough day, do you acknowledge God? When you’re having a great day, do you acknowledge God? When you have a big decision to make, do you acknowledge God? It’s similar to having a best friend and you want to share everything with them (the good, the bad, the ugly). Let Jesus be your best friend 🥺. He wants you to have fun and be in Godly community. I have a challenge on my channel titled 31 day walk with Jesus, I encourage you to give it a try. Read one chapter a day and spend time with Jesus and watch how God moves in your life. Don’t be discouraged, God loves you and sees your desire to want to grow spiritually. God bless 🤍🙏🏾
