There's nobody on the planet like Jorge and Ardeshir. I have seen them more times than any musicians in my life, and they are nothing short of spellbinding in person. S&F are in a class by themselves.
by far the best guitarists on the face of the earth....been listening to these guys for 25 years and I still cannot get enough of this great artistry. it makes me happy!
M Rogers I don’t know if I would go so far as to call them the best guitarists on earth, but I will go so far as to say that the show they put on at Jazz Alley in Seattle a few years back ranks right beside the first time I saw the Allman brothers at the Beacon theater as the 2 best live concerts I have had the privilege of attending..

What I mean is , without even trying Michael Batio, Joe Satriani, Jesse Cook, Gypsy Kings, Armik, Jeff Beck , Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Dime Bag Darrell, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert… should I continue?? All them put these guys to sleep everyday and twice on Sunday
I was walking down the street in LA and stepped into a bar and saw these two playing with their percussionist. WOW!!. That was in 1987-88. Been a big fan since and get to still see these guys as they regularly play at Catalina Bar and Grill and a couple other southland places!! Love it when Jorge winds up and lets it rip!

Eliseo Borrero lays the foundation for these amazing guitar virtuosos with his flair and insane bass playing expertise. His technical skill is fascinating and compliments Strunz & Farrah amazing guitar playing every step of the way. What they do with guitars he does it on bass. One of the most underrated bassists in modern jazz for sure.
Have seen them twice live. First time at Jazz Alley in Seattle I was sitting 6 feet from Ardeshir Farah. It was an epiphany for me watching the entire ensemble interact and perform. Absolutely the best live performance I have ever experienced by any musicians in any genre. They are consummate musicians: relaxed yet intense, virtuoso, melodic, rhythmic, and able to transmit such a sense of joy in their performances.

I got the pleasure of seeing these guys in a medium sized club way back in the mid 90's. They were amazing. I think they had 3 encores. Listen to the amazing Bass playing going on behind them. The Bassist is so tight and never runs out of ideas.

+Henry Argueta Years ago I bought the "Heat of the Sun" cd in the cheap bin, took it home and wow, from the first 4 or 5 notes I was totally hooked! I listened to the entire cd really closely.... Jardin is the first song and the following week I bought a flamenco nylon string guitar and that's what started me getting into my own style of playing. I agree, the best.
