You might have been familiar with the name Stryker. Stryker is a family of eight-wheeled armored fighting vehicles introduced and manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and serves as main equipment for the US Army.

What are the differences between the LAV III and the Stryker?

One goal of Stryker is so that it can be easily air-lifted even by a C-130 if I'm not wrong. Boxer and/or Patria are too heavy. Tradeoff is of course armor protection.

Good summary. I'd add that the M1134 Stryker ATGM Vehicle as stated uses SACLOS guided missiles. It might be further elaborated the missile is one of the TOW BGM-71variants. The M1128 Mobile Gun System with its 105 mm canon will be retired by the end of 2022. The canon autoloader had become too expensive to maintain and that the M1128 had not been upgraded with a Double V-Hull. Moreover, the Army seemed pleased with the 30 mm canon variant effectiveness.

It needs to be modular, instead of having full variety. Lowers cost, production time, and deployment operational fielding requirements overall. I was in the Army.

Be nice if you here able to access the Regional Bases that perform SRTYKER Teasting. Here in Washington State, we have 3 I beleive. Eastern, Central and Western between Tacoma and our Capital City of Olympia where the STRYKER BRIGADE is based at Fort Lewis/McCord AFB...

so many Fighter Planes & Helicopters in a very Low flying that's a greatest opportunity to knock them out right away so therefore (2) Missiles is Not the right Number & the right Answers during an Active Military Operations.

I have an idea from Joy toy and Hasbro red paint. Archelone lobestone is attach to steel piston for electric magnetic field potection. The hot engines parts have Radium picking up heat outside from Velostat sensors tracking enemy heat 360 degrees. Archelone electric magnetic field helps protect and track.thank You AMERICAN for sharing God bless those who Served. And Still serve.

Canadians have already gone to the LAV6. Ukraine is getting 39 hulls from the current Canadian Army allotment off the Canadian production line. US needs to upgrade

this Anti-Tank Missiles why it's Only (2) two Missiles? Why Not placing 20 Missiles / Rockert in the Leftside & 20 Rockets / Missiles in the Rightside? You Didn't realized that Only (2) Missiles is a time consuming specially during Active Military Operations in the Battlefield - like in the Case in Russian War & Invasions in Ukraine that there's a lot of Russian Tanks, Combat Vehicles in a long 60 miles stretch of Highway that a Big Opportunity as well as

I know this is a year old, but still... Anyways, the TOW Carrier does only have two missiles ready to fire... but has 10 reloads inside the hull, (total of 12 missiles) with a dedicated Loader (who can open a roof hatch and reload the missiles without exiting the vehicle). Compared to the Bradley's double TOW launcher that only has 5 reloads, for a total of 7. Why only 10 reloads, not 20? Simple, TOW missiles are pretty big, there's simply no more space inside for more missiles, not with the crew, their gear, and other mission essential gear to keep the truck running and gunning You can have 20 ready to fire missiles... but they'd be small little short range, weak warhead rockets with minimal guidance... or you can have the TOW. Also don't forget these vehicles do not fight alone, there's going to be at minimum 2-4 of these TOW Carriers at a fighting position, plus support from Infantry, Artillery, Aviation....
