Most Inspirational Pedal - I have ever owned. It's like an Instrument unto itself. Nothing compares to The Big Sky. It's a Soundtrack waiting to happen. One Love from NYC.
Antoine, you have inspired me to buy the big sky, I'm losing myself in another reality with it, what a magnificent pedal, thank you for the inspiration.
There are only two channels in ambient music that get my attention on every video. Bill Vencil's (Chords of Orion), and yours. Keep up the outstanding work, Antoine - you are a true blessing!
Stefan from ThePedalZone creates amazing, super musical demos, you should check him out for sure! Andy Othling was my biggest inspiration also and deserves all the credit, but it's just his lack of uploading in the last years that makes people forget more about him (I think).
Antoine is truly the Master of Ambient Guitar. I highly recommend his Ambient Chord Class. I have learned SO MUCH from him. Check out his free course and I'm certain you will want to continue with the rest of his classes. There is no better place to learn the art of Ambient Guitar than through these classes. And no, I didn't get paid to say this. I have enrolled in his class so I am speaking from first hand experience. If you're serious about learning Ambient Guitar you should definitely check out his Ambient Chord Class. You'll be glad you did.
I play the guitar too. Am totally interested in getting the Styrmon Big Sky. How do I connect it to my amp? I see the power supply connector on the left. What are the two connectors on the right? One from the guitar into the Big Sky and then from the Big Sky into the amp? Thanks the help
One cable from my guitar to the Big Sky input, and 2 cables out of the Big Sky to 2 different amplifiers. I play two amps at the same time, because it gives me a wide stereo field and it sounds gorgeous!
Sound #1 immediately reminded me of the Lord of the Rings ambient music when Aragorn would think of Arwen (and the cheesy love scenes). Beautiful sound! I like the music better the the acting in those scenes :D (2:05-2:25 in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j3p68e6TRhc.html )
Seems like you might have the "Levetin Effect" because both are in Em. My girlfriend will point examples like this out to me all the time, but even as a musician my ears just can't pick up on it!
