Here's another quick tutorial on setting up the Expression Jack for use with an Expression pedal as either a traditional Volume Pedal before or after the Gain section or as a multi parameter Expression Controller.

That's great. Post gain vol pedal is like having a volume pedal but without the tone suck. I'd love to be able to use both midi and expression pedal at the same time. Great video!! Thanks!

The volume post mode seems like a way to have a sudo effects loop with the Iridium. I believe you would need a split trs cable and send the return from the expression pedal into your desired effects and then back to the Iridium. Gonna try to give this a shot soon.

Hey, that’s not going to work I’m afraid, the expression input is not audio carrying, its only a control input so if you were to try and patch a pedal in there you won’t hear it and the expression pedal won’t work either. It’s using an expression as a volume pedal so the volume effect is coming from the signal path but the expression input is just controlling the volume parameter. That make sense?
