I’m so GRATEFUL to Stryper for bringing me back to Jesus in 1984 after falling down into a downward spiral of drugs and temptations. I am now 40 years clean and sober.
Sobriety is an awesome way to live life and addiction is a dragon worth slaying. One day, one step, one breath. Each day is a victory and a blessing. I never subscribed to any chip reward system trying to get out of the clutches of addiction due to its a false milestone. Only with Christ have I beaten the demons, held back the regrets and learned to plow forward knocking down all those trip wires and triggers. Christ is a powerful ally to have, he is always there, always faithful, and uses all instruments to bring people closer to him. Including rock and roll.
Still there be in just 11 songs on the new album there should be 12 actually making the last song a piano ballad if not better than the 80s because they're like a fine wine to better with age and maybe two bonus tracks as well 1 BNA heavier song turn another track being another ballad no that would be phenomenal
As an on fire new christian, I was a dreamer and listened to Petra night and day until I heard about this Band called Stryper that had a new album out. I heard Come on Rock on Metal shop working a graveyard shift at my gas station job so Me and my friend drove hours to get the last cassette tape of Yellow and Black Attack from berean bible book store. Those were days where we started really believing that we could be like them. Me and my friend started the band Decree and Full Armor and did pretty ok with that for years before I went on to sing for my other favorite CM Band, Barren Cross. I don't believe I have stronger or better memories in my entire life than those of the dream to rock and getting to do so world wide with BC. I never stopped listening to Stryper and y'alls music got me through some sketchie and challenging days. Y'all we're everything (after Jesus of course) to me. This song definitely conjures those very same feelings up once again. I love the heavy and I adore the melodic. I pray for Oz and Bob, Perry and Mike's health and that you all can keep being a blessing for years to come. honestly, you guys have not lost a step. Love you guys, my brothers. Keep your eyes on Jesus y'all. These are those days~
@@lonzojones4428 no reunion. That would be awesome though. They did a festival a couple years ago with Mike, but honestly I dont think the drive is there anymore. No pun intended (michael Drive :)
Hands in the air praising my God! I’m so grateful! I was a lost addict with no hope and he saved me, renewed me, restored me and gave me eternal life! Thank you Stryper for this beautiful jam!
As I listen to this, I am reminded of how much of a unique voice Michael has... been a fan for decades, keep this wonderful ministry alive! Sending love~
@@michaelsweet8158 This song…wow! So many great elements and you do sound amazing! Love this message! When I hear the last line of the chorus “And for the lost and found” it makes me think of my own salvation (once lost, now found)….curious if that is what you are referring to in that lyric, salvation? Keep rocking for Jesus!
Grateful to You, YHWH for granting Stryper a continuing ministry. Give them health & inspiration, keeping their hearts & minds mended to Yours. In Jesus Name.
This band has always been a favorite because I love what they are doing and how they are doing it. They are playing hard rock songs that glorify God and inspire others. Thank you Stryper for yet another inspiring song!
In some ways, I really agree with you! I’m missing the pop elements of Stryper past! This song is modern and past and heavy, yet “pop”. Fucking love it!!!🎉🔥💪👊😁
“Grateful” (Verse 1) Before the morning light When worlds are sleeping I see my life And promises I’m keeping With every breath I take I am alive and free Cause my life is what’s it's meant to be (Chorus) I’m so Grateful I built on solid ground For every high & every low And for the lost and found I’m Grateful (Verse 2) In the darkest times When all my hope is gone I find the strength within To face a new dawn And with every trial I see There's lessons to be learned And I’m thankful for the wisdom earned (Chorus) I’m so Grateful That I built on solid ground For every high & every low And for the lost and found Though the stormy skies Will bring the pouring rain I’ll always see the victory And my heart will remain Grateful (Solo) (Chorus) I’m so Grateful I built on solid ground For every high & every low And for the lost and found Though the stormy skies Will bring the pouring rain I’ll always see the victory And my heart will remain Grateful Grateful
I can't find a Christian band that plays great music, great lyrics and that actually plays instruments ( guitar) . Thank you for the wonderful music, truly a blessing.
Old enough to be around to witness this great band from the start. Their new stuff sounds as good as ever, if not better. Very uplifting in many ways, as we know Stryper can be! Thank you boys!
What a Voice and glad he never became a Hollywood Burnout!!! Incredible singer/Guitarist/Writer/Producer and dad!! Oz, Robert, Perry Great job as well.
His voice is incredible, I can't imagine how vocal work he should be doing. Awesome !! So inspiring. Love Lyrics and of course LOVE CHRIST UNITY AND COMPASSION MESSAGES.
Sounds awesome. Been following them for years. It to me seems like you hear more passion in the singing also the guitar 🎸 playing sounds heavenly. Even tho I love all their earlier stuff. I’m wondering though what “When We Were Kings” mean. Praise God for the message and that’s Jesus Christ. Thank you brother Mike and the rest of the band. Blessings to your family and Everyone listening. Keep the Faith no matter what’s going on. Keep Rocking for the Rock who is Jesus Christ. Blessings always 🙏
I'll be at the Greenville show a few days before the new album releases. I really hope you work this into the second set because it is in my top 3 of the newer material. Can't wait for the full album and to see you guys live.

Your voice sound so good. Been listening since I was 14 in 1983 or 84.Saw a news report about your band and they were showing soldiers under command. I was like what is this. I have got to get their album and have been with all of you since then. God Bless and Oz is in my prayers.
What an amazing song. This album is going to be outstanding. Definitely a melodic throwback to the 80’s. Can’t wait for the rest of the album to drop…..
Very catchy, very '80s! Love it!,.. I love the groove, this should bring some of the Ladie Heavy Metellers back. Let's go ladies''.. You know darn well in the '80s. This would have been a big hit!
Amazing! You guys just keep getting better and better - love the sound of all 3 aongs that were released. God Bless you for making awesome music with such positive messgaes and gor honoring our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ!
