Station to Station: A Nomadic Happening travelled by train from the Atlantic to the Pacific over 23 days in September 2013. Stopping in ten major cities and off-the-grid locations, each stop hosted a unique Happening. Like an exquisite corpse, a constantly changing group of artists, musicians and individuals took part in spontaneous encounters and live performances on the train and at each stop along the way.
Rolling into each station, the train set in motion a happening from dusk into night. Each event, like each day on the train, was singular and took its direction in form and content from the unique mix of assembled artists, musicians, filmmakers and locations. After each Happening the train moved on to the next place with different people, performances and energies.
