Still one of their best live performance recordings to date.

right before the set someone was passing around a massive jug of mushroom tea. 1 hour later and the stage was fractalizing and falling apart and then rebuilding in front of my eyes. This show and then the biscuits bringing up the sun on Monday morning to close out the festival made 03 one of my favorite High Sierras.

the band is still the band. they are just evolving and your stuck with one sound taste. .. the band is just as good if not 20x's greater now. appreciate thier sound for what it is. it will and always will be sector 9

The Meadow STS9 might be some of my favorite moments at HS. Extraordinary. Lights and trees 🌲 - saw them at HS 2000

It's crazy to see the evolution of this band. Zach's drumming has changed a lot too. I only found out about this band in 2011 so it's interesting to see who they were before. Who they were when I found them out and what they are today. I'm excited to see what this band will be in the future. I feel like we haven't even seen their full potential with Alana. They only have room to grow from here.

back in 1999? wow man you've know em a really long time then..hard to believe but if so, must be really cool to see them grow from the type of music they played then, to the combination of styles they play now

@jono128 that Shock Doctrine wasn't really 28 minutes if I remember correctly, it's just listed as such on their soundboards. It was Shock Doctrine straight into 20 minutes of ambient noises and stuff that they played during the set break..

@FLyAgaric421 - as far as I can tell (and I've dug far and wide) a soundboard recording was not made of the 2003 High Sierra sets.

I was at that show (4-20 in st. louis). The second set was tight, but the venue is terrible. The floor was way to crowded with people who didn't appreciate the music, and the sound by the bars in the back was terrible

Lotus is tight, but the tribes kills em bro
@Lord_Bones
@Lord_Bones 15 лет назад
new tribe is good, energetic but a little industrial. old tribe is the shit, on a different level, they throw out some good older tunes on special occasions too so it still works out a little. and lotus is alright, tribe is on a different planet compared to them though...
@Lord_Bones
@Lord_Bones 16 лет назад
i agree, their new shit is weak compared to what they used to do.
