Stuart Little | Stuart's Biological Parents Arrive 

I just love this universe where mice can wear clothes walk upright and speak and no one questions it just goes with it lol

The Stouts were not Stuart’s parents, they were kidnappers. Stuart’s real parents were killed by a falling pyramid of soup cans several years ago. Stuart was ever since an orphan until the Littles adopted him.

What I particularly love about this film is despite how unrealistic it is, it has so much emotional weight that almost feels real which is the moral of the story.

I feel they made this scene more tear-jerking than it needed to be. And for the record, those are not Stuart's biological parents. His biological parents died in a soup accident, they got crushed! How did the Littles not realize that?

I only came here to watch Stuart’s fake dad eat the peanuts in the bowl (timestamp at 0:33 and 1:17) because I've yet to witness another piece of media that has made table peanuts look so delicious and satisfying.

Seeing this remind me how much innocent my childhood was and so pure.. i miss those days.. watching this movie on TV and just feel so happy and safe..

Hate to say it. But these aren't Stuart's real parents. Remember what the lady said when she visited the Little's home? She said Stuart's real parents are dead.

I never noticed at first when watching this movie as a kid but now I see how you could tell Snowbell was behind Stuart leaving in this scene. Right when he’s getting picked up and has his face toward the camera, you can see him with a slight evil smirk. Clever, very clever.

I can’t believe this movie came out almost 24 years ago, I’m now 30. This movie is literally my childhood and sometimes when I rewatch this on Netflix, it makes me cry ❤❤❤

What makes this scene sad is at first George didn’t like Stuart when he first met him but then George got to know Stuart a little more and saw that they had a lot in common George saw that Stuart wasn’t just a mouse he saw that he was his brother and George got mad when that bully called Stuart a rat and defended him and when Stuart was leaving to his “real family” he was upset cause he got attached to Stuart

6:37 When Mrs. Little picks up Snowbell he is seen smirking. This foreshadows that he and Smokey plus Monty hired the Stouts to pose as Stuart's biological parents and remove him from the household.

2:29 George is right giving Stuart to the Stouts was a mistake. Because the Stouts are not Stuart’s real parents. Stuart’s real parents were killed many years in a supermarket accident. The Stouts are just kidnappers hired by Smokey, Snowbell and Monty to remove Stuart from the Little family.

I know that they’re not his actual parents but Jesus is it heartwretching. I’m not a parent but I can’t imagine what it’s like being told and then believing that you’d never be enough for the kid you adopted because they’re not the same as you. This scene was incredibly well done imo and really spoke to me.

I was so fascinated by this movie in my childhood that I used to keep a small pillow near me and expected Stuart on that in morning. This movie made a generation deewana (fan) of Stuart Little and Little family!

I wonder what's Geena Davis's secret, normally people age when they get older, but with her it seems to be other way round, she seems to get younger as she gets older

"Stuart Little" are probably the only closest thing we'll ever get as a proper "Bernard & Bianca" live action adoptation.

It really doesn't matter who your parents are or how you were born or what your last name is. If someone loves you, that's all that matters. Really, all a last name is just a fire wall between families. Really, all a biological parent is just someone that you were born with. It is the love is what really matters.

Even though The Stouts are not Stuart's real parents it would've been nice to see more of them and maybe they become friends with the Littles.

From the way the Stouts were persuading Stuart to go it appears that this was a life or death situation for them if they didn't obey the cats

I have all of the 4 Stuart little movies gathered cd with the animated masterpiece. There was a time in my early kid days where I used to watch these light movies too much. Those are the golden period. Stuart and that cat is is a good friend of George. I will definitely cherished such a good but , warm moments of my innocent days.

I find it especially heartbreaking that they drove to the opposite side of the street. It's like they live close by, but the Little's will never be able to see Stuart again.

Stuart doesn’t deserve the hate he gets. He and his movie both deserve more love, and so does Stuart Little 2.

The feeling in this scene is that he's leaving forever - in reality of a situation like this, could Stuart still visit the Littles, still have them as part of his life, even if not his legal guardians or living with them? I've heard of cases where a parent gives a child up for adoption but still is present in their lives, one of my friends did so - gave up the child but would still be in some ways in the child's life. I don't see why this needs to be a complete either-or. I do know what was really going on here (these weren't his real parents) but I'm thinking of what was understood by Stuart and the Littles at this point in the movie.

The day I saw the making of Stuart little on HBO, was the day I stopped believing in Santa Claus and all those other make believe characters I thought were real. I saw how they designed homeboy and everything and I was in shock.

Why did the Littles not ask the Stouts for proof that they are Stuart’s parents besides the fact that they are the same species? Why didn’t they check with the home?

Those Stouts just had to come and ruin Stuart’s new life and happiness with The Littles. Stuart’s real home IS with The Littles and not with the phoney Stouts! (Though they were hired by Smokey on Snowbell’s behalf to have Stuart out of the picture, but at least Snowbell had a change of heart in the end)

I thought it was cool that they made other mice like Stuart, even though it was revealed later on that Reggie and Camille Stout were not his parents!

I just realised Snowbell looks like the Diabeetus guy, Late Mr. Wilford Brimley.

The Little family is just being ridiculous about the whole Stuart's biological family. Even if the Stouts were Stuart's real parents or if Stuart did reunite with his biological parents doesn't mean that the Littles can't be Stuart's adoptive family. It also doesn't mean Stuart has to completely part with the Little family and never see them again because he can always come back to visit them espically during holidays. Also you can have two kinds of parents: your biological parents and your adoptive parents or stepparents.

This is the movie that showed that Michael J. Fox is even cute as a mouse.

Since the Stouts and Stuart look very much a like, there is a possibility that they could’ve been related. However that’s pretty slim.

First time seeing this clip at all, and I'm guessing these "biological parents" are actually the villains of this movie I've never seen. From the moment they arrived at the door and first started talking, I went "Yep they're the bad guys.".

I remember watching this when I was very little and out of my entire existence… *WHY AM I JUST NOW NOTICING THAT STUART’S STEP-DAD IS ALSO HOUSE?!*

There's so many unanswered questions in this scene.... 1) How does the receiver in the car retrieve the wave signal from the remote? 2) What happened to the other 7 people? Did they get snapped out of existence. 3) Why did the littles hand over a mouse (Child) Without asking for some form of Identification 4) Why is the male mouse dressed as Joker 5) How can the mouse wave down a Taxi? 6) When mrs little kissed Stuart did she contract disease? 7) Are all American family's this perfect? 8) Why did the mice cut straight across the road risking harm to other traffic users? 9) Were the peanuts salted or sweet? 10) How do the mice have opposable thumbs? 11) Does the Female mouse shop at Gucci? 12) Mrs Littles left Boob is creased... Why? 12) Mice are Quadrupedal and Can NOT walk on 2 legs, How is this Possible? 13) The common mouse only lives for around 2 Years, is this whole debate even needed?

No lie. Every time I watched this scene as a kid, I blubbered up like a baby and cried so hard. I"M SERIOUS!!! And Sadness from Inside Out agrees with me and is crying along with me too.

They sold that car at Radio Shack. I remember wanting it, but it came with a Stewart Little figure that was molded into the plastic. I didn’t like the way he looked, and didn’t like that I couldn’t take him out, so I never bought it.
