I could imagine a really funny edit of "Frederick Little" speaking in House quotes. Show him saying some really off-the-wall and inappropriate things to Stuart and George. Granted House said some pretty bad things to children as it was.
WOWWW I FEEL OLDDDDD also the reason you dont see more movies like this is like it's hard to make a idk how to best describe it uh just a CLASSic like this movie is a Classic
That’s a particular gift of Alan Silvestri, the composer of the film! He can make a boat race in a Central Park lake feel like huge ships sailing in the open ocean! He did that with Back To The Future, making something small in comparison feel huge and spectacular with music!
@@LordKrhiyos i think stuart is a special mouse that might have the life expectancy of a human. They wouldn't adopt a little brother for george just for it to die in less than 2 years lol
@@nicolesousa4203It doesn't even matter if Anton is rich or not. That doesn't change anything. Actions do have consequences, therefore, he should've been disqualified right then and there.
Actually George was already growing fond of Stuart before the race. They played with a toy train in the basement, George showed Stuart the roadster knowing he’d love it, and then they worked together to finish the boat. On top of that, when Anton tried to drown Stuart, George was literally the ONLY one that tried to stop him, not to mention he was ready to throw hands when Anton called Stuart a stupid rat. So when you factor in all of that, George was already starting to accept Stuart as his brother, and the boat race victory just made their bond even stronger
I love how when Frederick pulls George off of Anton he just casually reprimands him with a disapproving “George”. Uh, in case you didn’t notice, Freddie, the kid your son was fighting was literally attempting to murder your adopted son.

Fun Fact: The painting that you see above the mantelpiece at the end of the video is actually a real painting that was considered lost after World War II it’s called Sleeping Lady with Black Vase and it was painted by Hungarian painter Róbert Berény it is a depiction of the painter's wife reclining asleep in a blue dress behind a table on which is set a black vase a set designer for the movie purchased the painting at an antiques store in Pasadena, California for $500 for use in the film unaware of its significance
Funny how that works - looked it up on Wikipedia which said the same thing. An art historian recognized it while watching the movie and tracked it down, it was later sold for $285k.
@@quillmaurer6563Yah. Quite a while after the film was initially released to. 2009. Pretty crazy. Feels like yesterday and I was in college my first semester in 2009. Pretty cool bit of trivia about the movie though. I always liked this movie.
Bro, how do you spect a 5 yesr old kid, or, A HUMAN understand and accept an animal as a family. George probably thought before stuart, rat was just an animal and no more than that
I grew up watching the Stuart Little films as a kid and I still watch them now as an adult from time to time. Timeless Classics they are and are still good to watch like they were in their Heyday when they first came out, particularly the first two films. ❤
This scene got me hooked on RC railing and sailing in general. Just finished remasting my Kyosho Seawind, hoping to try my hand at the real thing one day.
I loved the old RC remote cars. I had one that I kept working on for a while, and It kept breaking on me lol. I was obsessed. I had duct tape here and there. I refused to let it die on me. Eventually it did stop working. But I was damned near determined to keep it working in the 90's when I was a kid. Other than that, and doing all the sports and outdoor stuffs, I still love video games. That shit I always felt was really cool. Still have the goldies to this day.
I miss watching stuart little ♥️ It reminds me of my childhood when there was no life tension, no exam pressure, no rat race. Summers afternoon + Stuart little = Best combination 2010♥️😭
😡 Don't tell George not to hurt people George was beating up Anton cause he's trying to defend Stuart from Anton and Anton attempts to kill Stuart by drowning him Don't be mad at George Mr Little
I don’t get it. Before the race, he said that he disliked Anton, and during the race, he now thinks it’s wrong of George to attack him, just because Anton insulted Stuart? That don’t make any sense, come on, Mr. Little! 🤦🏻♀️
@@rabrencruz99 unfortunately it’s the whole parent thing “ don’t encourage my kid to the ways of Physical violence” they tend to say if you ignore the bully will ignore you but that’s not how it works. Some bullies learn the lesson with a butt kick to show their prey/victims aren’t pushovers. 😤
I remember watching these action scenes as a kids and letting the dialogues between them going way over my head. Like how George’s dad would say “the most important thing is to keep trying” and honestly I feel like that subtle piece of advice resonated with many children growing up and shaped amazing people and sadly I didn’t take that advice at the time if not I too could have done great things if I really tried but I became too complacent and let alot of time pass me by….. the movie regardless keeps it realistic and even in bleak times like how the family outing was ruined by the remote being destroyed and the dad accepting and saying to George “let’s just go home” really shows that it’s hard to be optimistic all the time and sometimes the best of plans get ruined but the important thing of all is staying together as a family and loving each other regardless of any series of unfortunate events. The movie then proceeded to have the boat race but I just love little dialogues like these that went over my head and really fleshes out the characters portrayed and makes me love the movie even more now as an adult.
This feels a lot like the pod racing scene from Star Wars The Phantom Menace. That kid crashing the other ships is basically Sebulba. And both movies came out in the same year (1999).
I don't blame George for doing what he did to Anton. That's how you stand up to bullying. Another way to stand up to bullying is do what the girl did in the movie called Homefront.
@@coryames1170 Perhaps George explained to his dad what happened/the reason why he attacked Anton, off screen, while the camera pans onto Stuart in the boat
part of the problem might have been while they were fighting they were messing with the controls of the other boat. even while locked the boat would still be responding to the control so Stuart was in danger from the unpredictability.
I feel Like I can be like this to sometimes. I hate to give up. They honestly over complicate everything nowadays though in my op. Everything back then used to be alot simpler. Now I just start to not care after a while when it doesn't want to work. You can't always make modern technologies work.
Anton " geez George you all done crying" George "yeah are you all done being a jerk" Anton "no" (tries to contain laughter) Love that line. This is my favourite scene from 1 of my favourite movies as a kid
It’s already a 3rd movie that existed & released since 2005. If they do make a “Stuart Little 4” they do so but I highly doubt it will ever happen since they don’t make Movies as good as “Stuart Little” anymore as they used to back in the 2000s which they should made another Sequel of it back in like 2008 in my honest opinion.
That music was actually reused on the only surviving material online of the chase scene with P.T. Boomer along with Thomas, Diesel 10, Lady, Splatter and Dodge's original voices.
Wish the writing was that Stuart was his 2nd pet. If the line at 8:35 had been “that’s not any mouse, that’s my pet mouse” it would have been SO much better
You know, it would’ve been funny if the movie was about adopting a pet mouse from an animal shelter. And just like how George doesn’t want a mouse for a brother, it could be about him not wanting a mouse for a pet. Then your line would fit in perfectly. After Stuart won the race that would’ve been the moment that George excepted Stuart as his pet.
I recently saw this part of the movie again and at 5:56 is when I had to double-take because I swear the kid that moved the other kid out of the way was played by Noah Munck, but that's not possible when this movie released back in 1999 and Munck was born in 1996. Probably just me that thought that though. 😅
7:22-7:30 if I was George, I’ll show him who’s boss. 8:33 besides, this 🛶 race reminds me of the phantom menace when, Anakin Skywalker won 🏆 the pod race.
