It’s weird when I first watched this episode, the character trait of Stuart complaining about his life and wanting to die was getting dry at this point. Oddly, it’s kinda satisfying that he enjoyed his time with Howard’s mom and was acting more positively.

Stuart had no success personally or professionally, and it seems his family didn't care for him. Ms Wolowitz might be a pain to live with, but she is also one of the most empathetic, nurturing, welcoming people on the show, by the admission of everyone. So living in a big house, with someone who treated him with respect and kindness did wonders for his self-esteem.

In India marriage is just a business deal between two families. Money, socia economic status matters in the so called marriage...no scope for love at all.

@@krisgray1957 Cultures can determine marriages. That’s why in the states, the couple usually has to find common love before making official instead arrangements

Yh but that’s because there’s a lot of arranged marriages so a lot of the time it’s because of the 2 families that they are getting married in the first place instead of love which granted often does come after spending time with their arranged spouse. The same thing happened with European Royalty who all married each other because of the family lineage and not because of love or pregnancy like how the western version of marriages usually happen.

I think he genuinely became fond of Debbie because he can relate to her. Debbie, in her old age made her feel alone and unwanted. Stuart felt that all his life.
