My Dakota was daddy’s boy but also a drama king. My girlfriend came back from a walk with him and told me that he had a piece of wire in his foot. I knelt down to investigate and she was correct, there was a wire imbedded in the pad of his paw. As soon as I touch it, he starts crying as if in pain. She said “Oh hush, you little faker!” She said that she had already grabbed it, wiggled it and tried to pull it out and he never made a sound, but when daddy goes to help, it’s suddenly a terrible injury! (Still miss you boy!)

On his October 5 Instagram post, it was confirmed that he had Hepatocellular Carcinoma (cancer of the liver) :( In fact, I found out that dogs around the age of 9 and up have a greater chance of developing it. Zeus was 11 and a half, so he was well within the high risk group.
Not lol! You can clearly see, he has lost much weight due to cancer. I think, he did this for months, coz of knowing he s cancer and had pain. This owner knew this. Still uploading to yt. I dont think, thts right. I wonder, y the tumor couldn't be operated ..
My dog did the same thing. And she learned how to hide it so she could spit it out when we weren't looking. Dogs are a lot smarter than people give them credit for.
Can confirm! My dog is smart enough to separate his food from the medicine! So I use the pill pockets from Greenies and then throw them ( he loves chasing treats). He never notices and that’s literally the only way he will medicate!
It's not as simple as that regardless of the fact that she said it or not all animals are super intelligent as well as got sniffers like no other they can smell any changes in there food and drink it they suspect any ever so small slight change they won't touch it there brain immediately tells them it's poison don't touch it there not stupid sometimes I really do wonder how on earth they do it. I had beautiful very vocal chatty part Siamese part Domestic cat from cat rescue at 8 years old it was my late mother's cat never ever had anything wrong with her extremely very very healthy loved her Applaws, Cosmos, Thai food (real human cuts of chicken, salmon and liver not fit for human consumption best food for dogs and cats not cheap but you can guarantee it's not going hurt there gut and bowels with all the horrendous nasties that go in human and non human foods it's worse than skid row) anyways don't no if Cats Cats gave up on life but as soon as my mother died part of her went with mum she was never ever same still met her toy boy at exact same place and time as well as gave him mighty good left paw to his face he look at her as if to say Sooty darling what did I do to deserve that slap around face his reaction was priceless. Then one day her back legs went from under her when this happens that's it life extinct vet put it down to Arthritis as she was 19 nearly 20 I recently found out they can get spine pressure clots at that age sorry can't remember exact name of it it's fatal anyway slowly but surely she went from super hypoactive lunatic to completely lost soul in those 13 months trying get her to take her thyroid tablet and anti-inflammatory drugs was total nightmare even with pill pockets then came the Dementia that totally well and truly finished her off she spent hours upon hours screaming absolutely blood curdling murder and wandering up and down hall causing her more distress not that she knew it was making her Arthritis worse, she stopped eating, going to toilet etc. Then after her 20th birthday I was in hospital with very severe kidney infection when cat sitter looking after her told the hospital to tell me she found her collapsed vet said nothing more could be done but knew I had to say good bye so I discharged myself that last look she gave me broke my heart as they all did it humans and non humans before they died as if she was saying sorry my adopted mummy I'm ready to go to Heaven I wanted a Catholic funeral for her but no registered legitimate Pet Cemeteries near me my Father at church reassured me God will understand as Staunch Catholic I don't believe in Creamation but was told as I'm having her ashes interred with my dog in Pet Cemetery it could be allowed. on day of it there sitting at top of the path was her toy boy with mouse as if it was his parting gift head bowed in utter complete sorrow letting of pitiful mournful cry he kept this up for weeks at exact same time and place when they met so yeah animals are super smart. Zeuse you are going be fine well I'm going to hope and pray that you will get through this and come back fighting fit all your fur babies and human brothers and sisters as well as mummy and daddy and all your wonderful friends etc want there drama king to get better you show them boy how very strong you are be a very brave boy let mummy give you the medication it make you feel bit better if there is animal version of Ensure Plus then have that it's meal replacement drinks I got given them for my late dog. Oh my goodness, this gave me ALL of the feels. My Husky, Gina, would talk as much as Zeus does. In her final days, she hated the pills and was dropping weight so quickly. Many prayers and husky hugs that Zeus gets better soon.

Praying for this sweet boy. I’ve had great results with homemade pill pockets - equal parts smooth peanut butter and flour, with a splash of milk or water to form a paste. Keep the dough ball in a ziplock baggie in the fridge and pinch off bits to wrap around the pills. Cheaper than greenies brand. I’d make enough at a time to last a week. If you’re worried about raw flour, just microwave the flour first for about a minute. Love Zeus and wishing for the best through this scary episode!
Mine fell to a similar form of disease, and all I can say is the sooner it's addressed, the longer they have. Listen to them, as now is when they'll be most willing to speak. Treat them, as now is when they and you will most need it.
He's too damn smart. I laughed when you took the pill out of his food...he sniffed the food, licked it.... AND THEN HE STARTED EATING !!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 (They should make medications for dogs that TASTE LIKE DOG FOOD😂😂)
I hope he can have the surgery and all turns out well. Catarina is having the same trouble as she is not wanting her kidney supplement or her laxative. Animals can be truly like children.
My beautiful husky just passed away about 2 weeks ago from fatal heartworms, I miss her so much and watching Zeus and his beautiful self makes me happy. I wish for his full recovery soon!
