at this point we're actually buying steel to make the boxes of (s)crap. Normally they're out of stock, but in slower times like this, I'm happy to do the back end work to keep my guys working.

I paused at your edit about being poorly worded... I personally see the big picture and your words and edit were both correct! I built the smaller fire pit as pretty much the first "thing" I ever welded. I was fairly happy with the outcome, it's not perfect and I made some rookie mistakes, but its built and lives in my backyard. The Mrs. Likes it but wants me to give it a lift off the ground so I'm building a frame from some rebar and see how that works out. Keep it up you guys are great.

Richard, well done and you have the right attitude. Business is a team sport. It's people helping people. Also use this downtime to keep learning about business. If you are on Cash Method, switch to Accrual. Make sure the time and wages spent making those items you are selling is in COGS on your P&L and factored into your inventory per piece cost. (Finished cost). And every small business owner should be watching their Statement of Cash Flows at least weekly. Stay Strong, Stay Positive.

Would love to but my governor in Wisconsin just laid me off with about 30% of the state with shelter in place order. I'm hourly and I have no pay. I honestly never thought a Corona would take my paycheck :)
When it makes sense to do so. I am looking for a manufacturer to mate make them up there rather than have to add a lot to the price to ship them. Currently only the rocket stove and roses are economical to ship
I hope to eventually have a partner over there making these. The roses will ship international in 3 or 6 packs, as will some new ones we have coming out soon!

that can be sorted out, better to send an email and just come pay cash, saves a shipment being automatically prepared and you get some savings on the shipping and processing charges ($10-$20 generally)
We tend to keep the following, each on a separate grinder: 5" Fiber Disc, 36 Grit Flap Disk, 60 or 80 grit flap disk, cut off wheel, wire brush, and then sometimes an abrasive wheel or a non-cupped wire brush.
The rocket stove is $30 and the roses are $20, the rest get pretty pricey quickly but we will ship them at cost, just let me know which you're interested in.
42Fab - Metal Fabrication & Signage sir I beg to differ , the site lists two sizes a 45” and a 23” and only shows 2 of them in the photo one taller than the man and one chest height. No mention on the site of 7’. I will call tomorrow to correct my order that was just placed
@@chdecoys I don't know what to say. The site (that I built) has two photos. One showing the two models and one showing me standing next to the inspiration (the 7' tall unit). If you thought you could get a 7' tall chiminea shipped to you for $200, I am not qualified to provide you the help you need. If you wish to cancel your order, I suggest you reply to your order confirmation email and I will gladly refund the money that is much better used on math classes or medication
