Stuck Clutch on Allis Chalmers G - Still Plowing Sunflowers! - Bullard Farms

The clutch is stuck on our Allis Chalmers G. It has freed up a little bit, but we're still going to have to take the tractor apart, I think. We were still able to plow the sunflowers though. Enjoy some plowing footage!

My grandfather bought an Allis Chalmer G years ago to cultivate tobacco and beans. He didn't like it at first. He said you could pull a rooster backwards and do a better job cultivating. Once he got use to it he really liked it.

You can use the bellhousing that you have. You just have to drill a 9/16 hole for the suction tube on the hydraulic pump. There is a downloadable hydraulic manual for the Allis Chalmers G that has all the dimensions and will show you what to do. I just did mine and everything works fine.

The manual for the hydraulic system says for tractors prior to g-22342 you need to drill a 9/16" hole for the oil pickup so I would think you could use the bell housing you got
