tip for Cody on the garlic cutting. If your goal is minced garlic, put the flat side of the knife on the knife then smash it with your other hand. It will remove the peel on the outside then you can mince the garlic up afterwards. 2 birds with one stone.

my best friend's mom is ghanaian, and she made the best, most comforting bowl of groundnut soup (peanut butter stew? lol interesting translation) and I tried to make it in my tiny dorm room when I went to college. Not only did I slice my thumb open peeling the potatoes and burn the peanuts, my entire room and ALL my clothes smelled like peanut butter for WEEKS. It was still so worth it I made it a few more times 😜

Kelsey!! thees an west-african dish thats basically peanut butter stew called granat soup and you can find the recipe online v easily, you can customize it to make it vegan or with various kinds of protein but honestly its fire, if you're craving peanut butter stew this is a great variation of it :)
