My daughter has (had ) this pottery wheel. It is trash. The pedal broke before she could even use it, and the clay they give you is awful!! This shows nothing about your pottery skills, but about the patience that you made it this far with that wheel. Love your videos!!

I took pottery in college. One of my favorite classes. I still have the pots I made. I was excited about that toy but it wasn't very well made. Thanks for cracking me up though.

I had one of these as a child. Thought I was cool as hell! Used it 2 times before it broke. 😂 That thing was struggling. And I can relate to that.

Clay is just solid mailable mud . A rag and water will work just fine or treat it as any other muddy garment. Use the washing machine

I really feel like it was an issue with the clay. Maybe it hardened too much. Pottery wheels are fun though.

Look into getting some polymer clay like sclupty or Fimo you just mold and shape then bake and you can seal it with a sealer but you don’t have to it comes in fun colors too good luck don’t give up making what you wanted

my mom got us kids a potters wheels and we didnt have any luck, our bricks were coming off on the side of the house so i took it and stuffed it where the bricks were coming out and made mortar and replaced the bricks, and thats what we gave our mom for christmas, oh she was so pleased
