Not gonna lie: I went to the McD's Drive-Thru within two hours of passing. I'd been looking forward to it for months! It's a rite of passage!

Love how he doesn’t just tell his students the answer, he says “what gear do you think is best here” “which land should you be in after the roundabout” so much better than just telling a student love this content ahah can’t stop watching it

Drive thrus aren't easy, man. There's one in Peterborough where I live that is so tight around the bends and it's shaped like a damn snake.

Your videos are so great. I wish I found them when I was learning to drive but they are still very useful. Will definitely recommend to my friends that are learning, they’re so good.

I don't know how I've ended up here, I've been driving for ten years but I love watching these! Also my instructor made me go around a maccies drive thru twice towards the end of my lessons, its a good way to get used to narrow maneuvering. I felt super confident doing it on my own when I passed my test because I'd done it before.

I was watching all the videos since I started my driving lessons and it really helped me!! I learned a lot!! And passed my exam this week on second attempt!! Thank you!!

I personally think it is really cool that she was able to drive through the drive thru during her lesson, I think that should be something fun for every driving lesson because as said in the video, many people decide to go to the drive thru after passing their test, it's kind of fun to be able to do that.

Passed yesterday with 7 minors, not my fault though, probably brexit or something.

I remember going through first drive-thru, so funny i was like "how tf am i supposed to it's so tight" but it's so chill now.

I wish my driving instructor taught me things like this when I did my lessons 7 years ago lol. They are practical everyday things that we all do once we pass the test....

A good one to teach, not sure if you do would be filling up at a petrol station, I passed 7 years ago but was never taught that and still remember been a bit of a nervous wreck first time I needed to fill up as I didn't have a clue what to be doing

I feel that you should teach her hand over hand as well Pin, it might not be the preffered steering manoeuvre, but it's much faster, and in some cases much safer to use especially in tight tight spaces such as McDonald's

What a great idea I mostly go through hungry jacks/Burger King nearly every day because I love their frozen mango drinks and I think it’s a great idea to teach new lerners how to go through as they are tight. And good on you Pin pitching in to buy her a drink 😊

It really is true, some drive thrus are ridiculously and unnecessarily tight. I can navigate them generally without much problem but definitely a learner might get frustrated.

Wish I watched this video when I passed. I scrapped the wall of a MacDonald's drive-thru while turning a corner. 2 days after I passed.

lol I’ve been practicing my drive thru driving using the McDonald’s drive thru. I swear I’ve probably learnt the menu off by heart now 😂😂😂

The UK driving test is similar to the driving test in france. Expect, the driving test examiners are much more hard on learners. When you make driving errors, they won't only write it down, they will call you out on it during the actual drive instead of waiting till the end. When you make a minor error such as not checking Mirrors when turning into a road or overtaking parked vehicles or passing a vehicle that's blocking the road or a bus they will verbally remind you to always check your mirrors and if you make a serious fault, they will straight up scold you and give you that are you crazy look. I took my driving test in France and when taking a driving test there, if you fail, you will know before the test is even over.

My driving is getting so much better. I on really busy roundabout and doing 40mph. Still need bit more work but I can see the end goal. Can't wait for my first drive thru experience 🤣

lol I passed yesterday first time, I use to be stressed out watching these now i'm the complete opposite!

Learning to drive depends on how much you want to learn for example i love cars i spend hours looking at them and so when i turned 16 i did nothing but study road rules and drive around with my dad to get a feel for the road before passing all my tests.... i am still 16

Funny thing is I passed 1yr ago, but on my test I was joking with my examiner about including the drive thru on your test. Also, recently went through the drive thru and honestly, I was expecting myself to stall or something. But nothing bad happened, well car-wise, it was more remembering what I was ordering :D

Bit late, but when she said “McDonalds” all embarrassed when asked where she works, there was no need. When you’re young there is nothing wrong with working in fast food, you’re earning yourself money and keeping yourself busy. I worked in fast food from 14-20 to help my mum out and save some money and now I’m working as a delivery driver for a major supermarket chain with aspirations of becoming a driving instructor. Don’t let someone job shame you because you’re already doing better than a lot of others

I pretty much went straight after my test, I passed on the 27th December with no faults, McDonald's is right next to the test center, I said to my partner that if you can drive round the McDonald's drive through you should pass the test

She needs to widen her grip on the wheel the short shuffles are no good but I guess everyone learns p.s I wish my instructor took me to more places like this for experience
