I like that idea, but let me correct part of your theory for 2 astronauts to be in the same place 2 moons would have to exist. What I think is that the 2 earth's astronauts are existing (probably alternate genders in their universe ex: Female sees a female ghost ect.) Or the astronaut himself is a universal constant, and one exists after the explosion. Either way I think you have a correct theory on everything else. The question is are the events that happened in "brother" only existant in 1 universe or multiple?

Since then I actually think the two astronauts in Let's Go! are from either the same or incredibly similar universes, and that the astronaut in Brother is one of them after the other dies somehow, but the rest of my theory is more or less the same still lol
