We got stuck on "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World!! This happened on August 31, 2019. Not only did we get stuck but we rode the attraction with the lights on!

I was in the drop shaft when this happened!! Some guy in the front of our car had put his seat belt over his knee so he could slip it off and ride without it. Our elevator was slowly going to the bottom as you entered the 5th demension. We were greated by the manager who let all but the one guy and his friend reride. 😂
Thanks for sharing. We were greeted by the manager at the end of the ride as well. He told us that someone in the vehicle ahead of us did something very unsafe. However, he didn't get into the specifics. The manager gave us the option to ride it again or get a fastpass for any other attraction (expect for smugglers run or slinky dog dash). For those who don’t know: When the ride breaks down at this point the have to perform a “drop down sequence” where the vehicles that stop here have to do the drop for a cast member to escort them off the ride for the good old in-show exit. Have a good day/night where ever you are!
I would love for this to happen. Tower of terror is my favorite bride ever. It would be awesome if you were stopped in the elevator shaft like in this video, but the lights were still off and she went through the ride normally, but you had zero clue when you were about to drop. I mean like the cast members don’t tell you.
Glad you made a visit to WDW. I wished you could have met up with bioreconstruct. It was the two of you that kept me updated in a meaningful way on the construction of Galaxy's Edge. You covered DL and bioreconstruct covered DHS. You gave us the technical background and he gave us the eye in the sky coverage of the construction. Thanks so very much for your hard work. I hope you got to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom, the detail in that park blows my mind. That is what you get when you turn Joe Rhode loose to design a park.
Thank you! It would have been great to meet up with bioreconstruct! I loved the aerial views that they provided. We were able to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. I was blown away by the attention to detail. I loved the carved animals in the tree of life. The World of Avatar was incredible and the Pandora Flight of Passage attraction was awesome!
I first rode Tower of Terror in 2005, and it scared the crap outta me, also I think this might be my first roller coaster type of ride ever. Went on it again twice in 2023, didn't seem that scary anymore, second run i was also goofing around and did a superman pose for the picture 😅
There was a little anxiety in the air but no one freaked out. It was definitely a weird experience entering the drop shaft with the lights on. Thanks for watching!
