Danni has only been learning to drive for 4 days. Her real driving test is at West Wickham in THREE days! Is she ready to take it? Join the channel to get access to perks: / @drivingschooltv
Dani seems like a natural! Can relate to her struggles. In fact, I had an inappropriate female instructor. She’d make innuendos during our lessons, even touch my leg at times, call me a “naughty girl”. I hated it. Also had one lesson with a male who eyed me from top to toe before starting and then making weird comments during the lesson. Nightmare.
What a lovely, sweet person, with a lovely voice too 😊 So glad you mentioned creep instructors. There was nothing worse than dreading lessons and paying to sit in close proximity to someone like that. I had the leg touching type, commented on my body and leggings etc. My last straw happened the week covid started so lessons ended before I would’ve had to end it. You definitely don’t have to put up with it. End it and report it!
Definitely Karmelkla! Hope you've found someone nice to teach you now!! This story comes up way too often and it just breaks my heart. Sorry this happened to you too 🫶
Love your channel. As an ex driving instructor it brings back a lot of great memories, and what a delight Danni was. All the very best from Nick in Wolsingham.
I hope she has now reported this driving instructor, save other people having to go through a terrible experience. I'm 65 and just passed my driving test first time after 50 hrs driving lessons.
i passed in mitcham on my first try thanks to your mitcham test route videos :))) thanks a lot !!!!! was terrified the entire time but everyone saying the instructors are super nice eased my worries, and they were right!
what an absolute pleasure to watch. Definatly making the commentary the way to go. I'm gonna start doing this as it seems like the best way forward. Also Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Danni is so good ! She’s clearly worked really hard and a huge congratulations ! I think these sort of videos show that everyone can learn at different paces but in the end you will get there ☺️🙏❤️ x
Also to add… about the commentary, I watched your video about it 2 days before my test, I had planned to stay quiet on my test but I ended up chatting the whole way around my test route to my examiner. 😂 It really made me feel at ease and it also made the examiner aware of everything I was doing or going to do, also it made the test go way faster lol. I highly recommend it. 😊
Same, explained everything I was doing with the instructor and caught up a ton, did the same with the examiner and only got 1 minor for switching to first gear too early
WOW Danni you are amazing. Only been driving 4 days!! You looks so comfortable behind the wheel. Congrats on passing, although I don't think anyone watching this had any doubts about you. I too only learnt to drive at 30 and although I passed fairly easily, I definately think I would have struggled with confidence if I had tried at 17. The change from 17 to 30 is massive.
I love your videos Francis, I binge them all the time and I find them very useful! I got my theory test next week and after thats done with, I feel very confident starting my lessons because of you! One of my few favourite youtubers right now you're awesome!
Wishing you all the very best Anthony! My advice is to READ THE QUESTIONS CAREFULLY! You'll smash it. My advice is to think of yourself in the situation and the answers should be obvious. And with the hazard perception, use the double click method, that's what I learnt the day before the theory test and it really works. Please let us know how you got on! Best wishes to you!
Love the video, I have my test in 5 days and going to do my commentary on my test. Went through 4 different instructor until I found my current instructor. My instructor is amazing, he is detailed orientated, approachable, yet he is like a cheerleader, cheering for me in his seat that I got this.
only just found this channel and got admit its one of the best driving instruction channels ive watched. Danni was a very good driver, and congrats on passing your test.
I had an inappropriate driving instructor, this was around 3 years ago now! But he made me extremely uncomfortable to the point I couldn’t concentrate on my driving and would make mistakes. I had around 8-10 hours of time with him and I ended up sacking him off. Fast forward to now and I’ve started lessons again and I’ve learned more in the 4 hours with my new instructor than I ever did with the old instructor! I wish I had reported him at the time but fear and intimidation took over and I was 34 at the time, now I feel the guilt and worry if he’s behaving like that around younger girls 😢
Loved this video and all your videos! Do you have any videos or tips to help with driving anxiety? I passed last May but due to my anxiety i've only driven about 6 times since my test (only to the local shop round the block etc). any tips would be incredibly helpful!
Another 30y old here who passed their test today. With 1 minor. Have to say these videos are extremely helpful, although the route I went in Morden was a complete curveball. I can help explain why this additional learning is huge, because you guys are perfectionists, my examiner wasn’t as critical as you guys but having the voice of you in my head as I took my test made me so aware, at the end I was told one minor and asked what it was for, I said “ I missed my blind spot on a pull away” (which I did 😅) and he said “nope, change speed, mirrors” 😂.
@@DrivingSchoolTV I have my driving test very soon in like a couple of weeks and so I am binge watching all your videos. I am very nervous especially roundabouts I just hope I don't panic or get confused about my positioning and exits when I do the test
I can relate to danni so well I commentate everything I do because of my ADHD so it was really nice to see someone encouraging her to do her thing congrats to her for passing 🎉🎉
I had all my lessons in West Wickham and passed last year, so this video was very familiar. “Is this 30?” And I’m nodding like “YES it is Danni!” 😂 I wasn’t this good after such a short time.
Heyy just wanted to leave a comment to say thankyou for all your videos, I passed on Thursday with 4 driving faults 😊 I will continue to watch as I really enjoy them. ✨Congratulations Danni ✨ on passing your driving test! Beep beep 🚘
That was an unbelievably good drive. And she probably had the best learning point of all: making a total screw up on a hill start. I recommend messing it up once; that way, you'll never do it again. Ok, DGN just uploaded; time to check them out now...
I do Intensive courses and we always make sure that you have a assessment lesson first so we can meet each other and make sure the instructor and pupil is happy before parting with large amounts of cash. It's rare but i do turn some away and tell them it wont work as i feel there is a peronality clash.
I love Danni's commentary! I try to drive with commentary myself, when I'm driving with my daughter. Danni is way better at commentary, but I hope my commentary will prepare my daughter to learn to drive in a few years.
I talked to myself and my first instructor told me to literally "Shut up". My second instructor was really supportive and only cared if i drove safely, not what I am doing.
My friend had a creepy instructor who iirc grabbed her hand at some stage and I don't know if it was at the same time but he said "naughty" or something when she made a mistake, I forget, and "if I was your age, I'd marry you" like bruh what
Its possible to pass I guess, but learning all the manoeuvres and roundabouts and getting into the flow with mirrors and signalling is gonna make it harder. Even people who've been driving 30 years would struggle to pass I reckon.
Well done Danni. ❤ We are very Lucky admin to have Francis who saved the day for danni to give her a mock test and thank you to her for taking part in this video. 1:38 commentary is good, yea she should have Looked left mirror 2:40 good place to stop i believe in one of your videos over a year ago If you wait past the stop line when turning right with two cars in front of you, you can fail once the lights turn to right Which isn’t what any learner would want 3:04 so random 😂 3:12 wow, she had to clear the way straightaway after she made the decision to make the right turn 3:47 lovely question from Francis 😊 5:17 she did well in this 5:58 i admire how she didn’t let her mood go down because another car over took her safely She was all supportive of the women running 😅 6:44 i liked how she went around the mini roundabout 10:22 good breaking and how you should break on a Manuel gear car. 11:28 nothing bad or wrong in saying you are a good driver 19:05 good example of how to do a hill start 20:25 important to not rush this when setting off when stalling. Nice that the car behind did not use their horn behind the learner. 26:42 good advice on if you unfortunately fail your uk driving test. 27:08 i wonder if that is her dream holiday So exotic 31:14 she is a girly girls girl it seems Always supportive of others 31:59 this example is going on a tiktok i feel She definitely is one of the best we had on driving school tv Good advice from her in the video too. Her drive was very calm and collected 39:46 i think this would be a hazard yea and a good decision from her to stop. Apologies for my thoughts throughout this video in this comment, it was a nice watch Thank you Francis for upload Can i have a go someday at a mock test with Francis ? Was a fun educational video this.
Google says this. But it’s a website from New Zealand. I’ve never heard of it in the UK. A motorway does not allow pedestrians or cyclists, and you can only get on a motorway at on-ramps and interchanges. An expressway looks pretty much the same as a motorway, but pedestrians and cyclists can use it, and there is access for people whose properties lead on to it.
Thank you so much for your reply, I heard the term in a video, the driving instructor (also from the uk) said at the roundabout take the first exit left onto the expressway, I think it means an urban motorway, similar to a motorway but pedestrians and cyclists can also use it. 🙃
I've actually never seen road markings like those at 4:41. Could you do a short explaining that 🤔 Totally relate to the creepy instructor 😢..sad that this happens. I had one who would try to touch me whilst pretending to show me features of the car. Also had a very aggressive instructor who seemed unhinged. I should have reported them.
It's actually a normal crossroads. It's quite common for them to have arrows on the floor to show you which way you need to pass an oncoming vehicle also turning right. The square in the middle is a bit random though and that's what's making it confusing for sure!
What behaviour? What did her Instructor do or say, Specifically? I'd like to hear it. You cabn't be vague about these things. We don't know what was said or what she's even talking about.
We don’t need to go into specifics. It’s a RU-vid video. If she wanted toto speak about it publicly she would have. I heard it and it’s bad. The message is about not putting up with bad behaviour and it’s a good and important one to share
@@DrivingSchoolTV I'm another for the clean shaven look , the big beard and moustache changed your face so much I wasn't sure it was you but i recognised the voice lol .
