She used loans for travel. MANY students do this, then end up with six figures of student loan debt for a political science degree and demand we, the taxpayers, pay their loans off.
@@iwasadeum There's no student loan for travels. Save your ignorance for your children. No wait, better not because we don't need more ignorance in these world
I used kayak before. Showed up to a hotel and said they didn’t have my reservation then was stuck paying way more. Pretty sure that happened twice. Kayak refunded me the money but I still got screwed.
This actually suprisingly works. Flights from Germany to Mexico on skyscanner are (with no stopovers in the US) 687€ and on kayak 505€ with the student thing! That's pretty cool ngl
This came at such a perfect time!! Thank you!!! 💕💕 im going to study abroad in japan this fall and have to start looking at flights soon. Ive been so anxious tho cuz its like,,, 1k-2k!!! Uugh, and im so broke 🥲🥲 this will def help me tho!! Thank youuuuuuu
I went to school in Florida, my parents lived in Missouri. I flew Allegiant. One trip was $86 round trip total. I could fly around 4-5 times a year once I became a nurse.
Just so y’all know, booking flights through 3rd party sites can be a risk if the flight gets cancelled or delayed. If you go to the airline counter at the airport for any issue, they’ll usually ask you to call Kayak instead (and I don’t know how their customer service is). Just a heads up!
@@rk6483ha I got 4 people arrested in Miami for starting a "riot" by demanding we get a hotel after our plane leaked gas but they didn't send us home then no, we had to wait till about 3am
When I was in college in NYC, there were student travel agencies! (This was a verrrrrry long time ago.) I took so many trip in college and in my twenties with super cheap flights. Don’t know if they are still around but I guess everything is online now so it doesn’t matter!
You mean, you purchase your ticket on a student discount and the rest of your family purchases at normal price? I don't see why not. Do make sure to confirm that they're booking the same flight though, if you want to be on the plane together
Yes you can. You can specify who those tickets are for before even searching for the tickets (you’d select 1 student, however many “normal” adults, and children if there are any)
