The problem isn't that Johnny can't read. The problem isn't even that Johnny can't think. The problem is that Johnny doesn't know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling. Thomas Sowell

Canadians have constitutional right to unequal treatment, new report argues by Ari David Blaff - National Post. A Right to Unequal Treatment: In Canada, some people are more equal than others by Bruce Pardy - Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy
The pendulum has swung too far. We were once moving toward equality and instead we’re now so obsessed with labels, society is more divided than it ever has been. This kid is calling out the morons behind it. May he go far!!
Its about time too. I had to endure the racists my entire school session because we were name called extensively if we didn't conform, and we had no support yet. I remember once even trying to call a newspaper reporter, only to be turned away.
Absolutely. My family was broken up during the Vietnam war because the north Vietnamese fought for the ideology of equality. Overnight everything was stripped from everyone in the south purely for such what seemed to be an innocent idea. It took decades for Vietnam to recover but the government and their bodies still control the rules and lives of their people in times that matter most.
No it's not. It's the road to dividing Society in order to create disunity and conflict. The intention is to create animosity, anger and outrage. When everyone is fighting the "system" they want to create a classic Marxist Revolutionary Vanguard. They're subversive and evil.
@@BlacksmithTWD What’s interesting about (you people) & your alcoholism, is that just a few years before the infamous potato famine, Ireland was the site of a massively successful temperance campaign led by the noted Catholic priest, Theobald Mathew. So successful was this campaign that between 1838 and 1841, their national alcohol consumption was cut in half.
@@JamminClemmons You mean to say there was only one kid in the video but I was seeing double because of alcohol? I might have considered it if it wasn't for the lack of drinking any, the different hair colors and hair length of the kids. Not sure why you seem to think of me as an Irish alcoholic.
These kids are STELLAR!!!! WOW!! I would love to meet their parents and say, "Job well done!" I Spent many years fighting for my children's rights by challenging the way the schools were run. Thank you!
Those old men should be ashamed of themselves for obviously trying to silence and intimidate the young people. They do not belong in a position of power.
Gives me hope that our youth are seeing the total hypocrisy of the adults who are hell bent on indoctrinating them. This young man is impressive. Keep it up young man.
Adults have been so conditioned to remain silent for fear of being called racists, Nazis, white supremacists, etc. let them remain silent. These young people are an example of courage that we should all follow. All these evil people thrive in this silent majority. This must change and quickly.
I'm an adult and I'm not going to keep silent. What example would that set for these younger individuals. Both of them have been raised well and encouraged to speak the truth, even when today's society would have them become meek and shy away from it
What a great speech by a strong 14yo. Watching and listening I cannot help but cheer for her.. in my family room in Australia!! Not to mention the young boy who put the school board to shame. These "kids" are 1million times more intelligent and respected than any of the board members are.
These students are amazing! I remember being a 14-year-old and I cold never have spoken with such confidence at that age. These kids are true leadership material. Their parents should be super-proud of how their kids have turned out. I live in the UK and have no experience of school board/governor meetings, but I hope they are something resembling these! (I fear they are not).
Youre statement is almost an insult, but then a high compliment, she speaks so eloquently. My hat is off to her. Please keep standing up for what is RIGHT!!!!
i’m glad the girl had the audience behind her for support, but it didn’t appear as though she needed it. The men in front of her, however, need to grow up, acting like that they should be ashamed of themselves.!!
No wonder the competency scores of public schools are so low. The schools drive away top students like this young man, and his high scores disappear with him as he leaves, leaving the lower ability students to be counted.
I was a kid who excelled at school when I was young, only issue is that I *LOATHED* homework, it felt like busy work and I felt as if I was being talked AT rather than to. Later, the insane workload nearly took me out with how depressed I was with school. I was working so much harder to catch up than others despite my initial younger advantage. I started ADHD medication later in my life. I was deemed above the same teaching of my peers and it fucked me over. I would score high on tests every single time, but that would place me in classes with a workload far too high for my ability. The schools do not care about high achievement.
51 years ago, because I’m white, and even though I received the highest score in testing, only Blacks were hired for the Portland Oregon carpentry apprenticeship program. The official told me this in a private room in downdowntown town Portland
Beautifully articulated. Well done, young man. YES. YOUR LIFE MATTERS! As a veteran teacher myself (University college and vocational education), these so-called educators infuriate me. Good on you for using your voice. 👍
This young man is amazing!!!!! It’s a shame that a child has to stand to adults and point there wrongs out!! Keep it going buddy!! Stand on God First and the Truth and you can’t go wrong.. bless you young fellow.. ps.. Be proud of your accomplishments ..
Everything they say is exactly the opposite of what they are trying to achieve. Everything they accuse others to do is a confession of their own crimes.
This young man seriously needs to consider a future in politics as he intimates. He, and others like him, are America's future. The young lady has better cojones than the male board members.
When a child HAS to educate the educators, you know they are abysmal failures and should be fired. The children would have done a better job. Demand all those teachers involved and board members involved go or withdraw your kid, your kids deserve better than these incompetant bigoted idiots. They should all apologise to that child before packing their desk.
We got emails at work reminding us about Hispanic Heritage Month or Asian-Pacific Islander Heritage Month or Black History Month. I replied asking when European Heritage Month would be celebrated. This is a very large international corporation. Apparently, somewhere up the chain of command, they were actually reading the replies. I was called into HR to be told I could not ask that question and there would be no European Heritage Month.
What makes you think Trump isnt racist? From what i see, BOTH sides are garbage. This "you only have two options" political system is ruining this country.
The teenagers educating the school board. The public education cabal is failing our children but they are fighting back. At least their parents are raising them properly. Time for all.parents to look for alternatives to public schools.
The parents of these two must be bursting with pride. The second speaker is one that board should certainly pay attention to. I hope more people like her get into politics. ❤
A future President right there, he'll represent ALL cultures not just some because he has morals. Well done you wonderful young man.👏 Shame on the school who makes young kids like him feel worthless, absolutely shocking.
It's interesting to see how comfortable this "board" are BULLYING a 14yr old child! Fortunately, she has more "balls" than all of them put together! She's going to be quite a leader in a few years time! Both these kids deserve serious respect!
Im white and i had a hard life. I was abandoned by my parents at age 4. I had ptsd by age 4. I was never privileged and still aren't. So when they call me privileged, i take offense. But i guess because I'm a straight white male, my feelings don't matter.
