Join us for the second session in this year’s suite of employer education webinars, all designed to help educate you and your organization’s hiring professionals on the top trends and best practices specific to Huskies here at the University of Washington.
The idea for “Student Priorities” came from a piece of feedback provided after a previous webinar, wherein an employer requested to hear quotes from students to back up claims. Our office, inspired by that feedback, launched a survey over Summer 2024 designed to collect student feedback about recruiting on-campus. “Student Priorities” will highlight data and anecdotes from that survey in the spirit of sharing how Huskies want employers to engage with them. This webinar should serve as a roadmap for employers who want to host or attend recruiting events on-campus. The agenda for this presentation is outlined below:
- Brief outline of survey design: what information was the C&IC hoping to glean?
- Results of survey: how did the students respond?
- National trend comparison: how does this relate to student feedback across the US?
- Center takeaways: how is the C&IC engaging with this data?
- Employer takeaways: how do we recommend recruiting professionals engage with this data?
