This kid is a literal example of every kid in my class. I thought this was in every school, but after reading the comments, I’m corrected. My primary school kinda had me...I had a little bit of a rough upbringing with only my dad since I was 3....grandma died in year 5...this video seemed a bit relatable to me but only a little bit... Edit:I didn't get up to the P.R.U bit...I went to a not so bad P.R.U. and a few days after my anger issues faded...but jeez one person's story about a friend being stabbed to death really terrified me...it was also odd because everyone was like "why are you here? You shouldn't be here" because they never saw me angry...

I was troublesome at secondary school, always having melt downs, screaming, being rude to teachers, etc. I was removed from school at 14. Missed GCSE, A-Levels, college. I was since diagnosed with Asperger's, but I regret every day of my life that I never completed my education. I'm 37, I'm unemployed, I have no friends, no girlfriend/wife, no independence. Don't leave school, kids. Biggest mistake you'll ever make I promise.

ok but I think he’s genuinely a really sweet boy and how he is behaving is just an expression of his family trauma like he’s a kid and his parents are spilt at Christmas, that can’t be easy. I couldn’t control my behaviour when my parents first split up too because it’s just confusing. The way he said “bye love you” to that red haired girl and then ran to hold the door open for other students before they got there. He’s a sweet boy and he means well he just needs time and a lot of patience. Hats of to that head teacher for giving him that time, patience and respect 🥰

We need to teach kids to think differently, to manage their emotions. they don't have the skills to monitor themselves or experience to choose a different response. They have to be taught and have it reinforced over and over - teaching them self awareness (why did you get angry? What was the real feeling behind it? What can you do differently next time? What might be another way to frame the situation?). Just punishing them or excluding them doesn't teach them anything except reinforces the fact they are unloveable and cannot be helped
