Reap it idiots! Just like the old Toyota commercial from decades ago went "you asked for it, you got it!" You dummies wanted a black president, well you got one and now he's not only shoving it up our asses but your dumb asses as well. And how the hell is the clown at 0:44 going to "put in some overtime at work" when virtually every business is cutting hours just to stay afloat!? Good luck fools!
The sad part is, she is absolutely right. Wall Street is making record money off of Obama's quantitative easing program. Meanwhile, the economy is stagnating and the value of the dollar has eroded 30% the past decade. Grandma's savings account has lost a third of it's buying power. He's exacerbating the poor/rich divide. Economists are calling the current market trends unprecedented. The stimulus money is NOT stimulating. They say it's time to pull the plug but it will cause a lot of economic pain because they let it go on too long. Don't expect anything to happen until after the next election round in 2014. They are more interested in saving face than protecting the poor, elderly, and average working American.
Lithriel That wasn't her position though. She's fine with Obama giving Americans of African descent other people's money, she's mad because he's giving it to white people instead of her.
What is really pathetic is that these are COLLEGE STUDENTS and they are JUST NOW(?!?) finding this stuff out??? Talk about NOT having a clue. College = where they teach you TO BE stupid, like feeding you crap like evolution
Lets not leave out the latest dodo sandwich being served to the people, global warming, climate change... What a foolish notion to conceive that man is causing adverse weather patterns do to carbon.
0:56 ... this person actually exists in the world ... she actually believes she is owed something from the federal government because the President is African-American ... smh
The Guy who said "government been lying to us since birth" nailed it. Cynthia McKinney,ex congresswoman, really nailed it when she said "we didn't get the lesser of two evils,we got the most effective" in regards to the 08 election.
This is what the progressives voted for and now we all have to suffer! 0bama, the failure in chief, is the greatest disaster this country has ever endured!!
I have ZERO sympathy for them. You were warned so many times, people were breathless after years of fighting tooth and nail against it and you still supported it. Its incredible how stupid people are.
LOL. "I'm just finding out about this now. When did this pass?" He is at an institution of higher learning and he hasn't heard about the ACA yet? I guess it hasn't been front and center on the news for the last couple years? What is this guy studying? Does he know the name of the president even? Wow.
Insurance is now the biggest scam around. My husband's employer wants more than our mortgage for insurance, mine is a little cheaper but I pay more for my doctor's visits than I did before I was forced to buy it. Then after you pay in your $3000 bucks per year, you still get nothing back until you've hit $10,000. We need to eliminate insurance all together and pay 25% of it to our doctor and 75% to the nearest hospital or hospital district. 50% of that can go toward a general fund for major illness and the rest in a savings account for each person. We should be able to shop around for the cheapest services.
It takes a great deal of integrity to admit you voted for Obama. I commend the students who realize that they were misled by the politicians that lied to them.
I guess they're too stupid to know that the insurance policies they have are called Junk for a reason. Blame the insurance companies for putting these policies out.
In a statement, BSU confirmed that students must seek independent coverage through alternative resources, but insisted the decision was made with full involvement and solicitation of student feedback. The full statement from Bowie State University. “As new health care options were slated to be available this academic year, the university, in consultation with students, made the decision that students would be better served by individually securing insurance coverage that would best suit their needs. We provided information on available options and how to sign up.” “Most students are now able to be covered under their parent’s health plans up to age 26 at no additional cost and new affordable coverage is becoming available through the Maryland State Insurance Exchange System. The kind of coverage available through these programs will recognize that they are students and be tailored to their individual financial status. The coverage will be far superior to the limited plan the university had previously offered and less expensive than any plan the university could secure on its own.”
My African American friends say in the city of Chicago that Obama didn’t help at all and feel they are more separated from the police where they weren’t so much before. Now they have more violence in the streets by gangs.
Let's see. Under the Affordable Care Act,commonly referred to as Obama care, pre existing illnesses cannot be used to deny coverage. 1. If you don't sign up you pay a $96 dollar fine per year. 2. If you happen to acquire an illness in the interim you can then sign up,given that a pre existing condition cannot be denied. 3. If I were a young healthy individual the choice seems obvious. The rub is that the Affordable Care Act is dependent on young healthy peoples premiums. Without a large portion of today's youth participating this whole Act collapses before it even begins. Look at the minuscule numbers we currently have signed up. When I ask young people about their plans they don't even know what I'm talking about. Remind me again what month this is.......they have until the beginning of next year yet have no idea what I am saying.
They still have no clue what they are talking about ... no one gave any specifics they only know they lost something. That’s what you get next time be better informed
My friends, the entire ACA was a fantasy from the very beginning. Examples: It would bend cost curve down; it would make everyone's premiums cheaper; all services would be more accessible; those with pre-existing conditions would always be covered. How could all this additional value be created from nothingness? The answer: it couldn't. Somebody has to bear the costs. Much to their chagrin, many of those bearing the costs are people who believed in the original fantasy. Allow me to provide a dose of reality from Friedrich Hayek: government personnel, no matter how smart and well-intended, can NEVER engineer a market that will be more efficient than markets that arise spontaneously. Even though the insurance market was already heavily regulated prior to Obamacare, to the extent that it had a few free elements in it, it was far superior to the hyper-regulated Obamacare. Other than that, there is nothing else to say except that I'm sorry that you were taken in.
***** If you have something to say regarding a difference of opinion, it might actually help to state that. Instead you make yourself sound like a troll. WAH WAH WAH FOX. STFU! Great point, say it again!
***** Better spit the jizz out of your mouth as your coming out from under the dictator's desk. That way we can better understand what it is you're trying to say.
Teddy Redwine When confronted with these facts they will spin a wild tale about how everyone left the democrat party and became republican and all the republicans became democrats. Yup, they actually believe this, it's the only way they can spin reality to explain the democrat's battle to keep slavery legal, and to block the civil rights. Even burgerking doesn't make whoppers that good lol
I didn't even see your caption for this video before I watched it but, that's exactly what was going through my mind. I was also shaking my head because I knew almost all the people interviewed and, that's embarrassing too...
This guy is making stuff up, he goes around campus acting a fool and then expect someone to listen to him & when you try to talk with him about certain things he argues with you and dis regards "the other point of view." I strongly dislike how he went on national tv and portrayed Bowie State in a negative light. Plus this health care he is arguing for has very little benefits and he doesn't even need it since he stated he is on his parents health care. The point is, he is arguing for something that no one else is even thinking about he just wants to say he fought for something, but no one even cares about this issue. -Fellow Student responding to Eugene Craig who complained about Obamacare in a televised interview...
I really wish the wanna be news reported would have done her job and not played a biased role against the affordable care act. As a student at Bowie State the number of students that actually use the campus insurance is so small in comparison to the actual student population. Furthermore the school insurance was crap anyways. You still had to pay a whole lot of money. Next time you want to cover a story ask people that matter and know facts.
Can't feel sorry for these people... They (including the lady with the microphone) have no clue about what's going on. 5 minutes of research found that without any assistance if I were a college student I could find $97 a month coverage.... I paid more than that when I worked at a major retailer at their age, for not as good of a policy. But, these people are as clueless as most people, DO SOME RESEARCH PEOPLE!!
Poor souls. I'm sure they voted for their messiah (twice) so the shock of hearing they don't get something for nothing must be a bitter pill to swallow.
It's the insurance companies playing politics. Instead of just simply upgrading customers already existing plans, companies are canceling plans instead. This in turn, makes Obama look bad. Granted, he should know better than to put some much trust in people like that.
i love your coments . All of you have an opinion. It s great to read smart ideas. If you would all get together and work on what plan of action can be taken to return life to pre Obama care. Many people these days are afraid to express what they think. A before Obama plan, or Bo plan. God bless America
I don't agree with a lot of the Liberal views in this video, but it is good to see that these kids are finally beginning to wake up. Keep going, you've only taken the first step into reality. Start paying closer attention to what goes on in politics, because each vote effects us all. Obama should never have won the Democrat primary in 2008 and neither should have Romney won the GOP in 2012.
I saw a political cartoon yesterday, showing how Republicans lie because there are no death panels. I had to laugh as the cartoonist could only pick out one thing he thinks Republicans lied about on Fubarmacare, and ignores all the other things they've said that have come true. All of this was predicted! And as far as the cartoon, who doesn't believe that the death panels will come, as they have with every socialized medical plan in the world?
There will be an unelected board of bureaucrats who will be in charge of making financial decisions which in effect means they will have life and death decisions in their hands (i.e. death panels). They will have no oversight, can't be voted out, and have scary power.
Single payer would have been superior but it is messed up that she is blatantly lying to these young people. You'd have to make a heck of a lot more than most students to pay $3,000 for one individual. If you qualify for federal student loans you would also qualify for medicaid under the ACA. Students can also now remain on their parents insurance a couple of years longer, too.
I wonder why they only interviewed people that seemed to not understand the situation. Could it be that they where unable to find such a person on that campus?
To the kid at 0:44 . . . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Fabulous, intelligent response. You need more money? Work for it, put in overtime if you have to. He was raised right. 😘
If you can't afford 3k a year, you can get aid or apply for Medicare or other local health programs. These students just for know about it. This bias journalism is pathetic and sad.
Why interview students who say things like, "when was that passed? benefits the "white people!, I guess I have that plan?." EMBARRASSING at best. Stop talking to the uninformed about the benefits or deficits of ACA, go to the audiences that can participate in valid debate. The question to them should have been what did that university plan offer--and request examples? LORD help us all--a glimpse of the future.
SOOOOOOO are these people really college students or paid actors because i would never know and i go to bowie state.....I feel like the target aud. are people you knew didn't know anything about it...this makes us look bad
And what's the "deductible" fora $30.00 a month plan? "deductible" that's the sh*t they make you u pay for straight out of your pocket (moron...) Nothing is FREE! If it's "$30.00 a month" it's because some other poor sucker with two jobs is paying the other $900 for you!
Are you really that ignorant Mossiita? Do you even have a clue at what a deductible on a plan like that is? Even at the $120/mo the deductible is insane. Then, you most likely will have to drive 4 hours to a hospital that will accept your plan. You are the essence of the low info voter. A useful idiot.
Also she is lying on how much an insurance policy will be 3000 dollars is more for peopl with a large family and middle class, if you are young and have low income the insurance plans you can find can be 30 dollars to 120 a month, she is playing these youngins
the college has said that if students continue to pay for the same health insurance plan through the college the cost will change from 54$ per semester to 900$ a semester and the college says thats 1800$ per year. no matter how you look at it the ACA is going to cost those students who said they can barely afford books more money for healthcare, and so far all the stuff you have posted has been more expensive then 54$ a semester, unless they are lucky and happen to be under 26 and their parents have health insurance they are possible screwed some might even drop out which is a shame. the law was designed to force these young kids into the exchanges regardless of race, Gen Y is supposed to offset the cost of the sick and elderly therefore leveling out the market to supposedly make it more fair for the sick and elderly so they don't have to pay as much. democrats have come out and said this in their own words. here's an article just in case you don't believe me blackamericaweb.com/184259/hbcu-bowie-state-blames-obamacare-for-nixing-student-health-plans/
I really disliked this video because everyone there was really uninformed and uneducated about current events and the reporter was feeding them the facts and news in a way to help shape there disapproval. I still think Obamacare is a scam but this is hardly "journalism" getting a bunch of unimformend people and feeding them what to say HAH! she would do well at FOX NEWS!
