Visually impaired people also have opinions about socio-political issues such as unemployment and communalism. Disabled people do not think about disability alone. We think that we are creating space for them by limiting them to their disability, as that first visually impaired student pointed out. I am glad that you corrected it later in the video.

I have to agree with that girl on that matter that there is a market or a taste for hate in our society and the PM just cater to that so he is serving us what we like to consume. BTW these students also seemed a bit clueless albeit in the opposite side. And Atul you could ask a bit more pointed questions on the ragging matters as very recently there has been a murder /death in JU.

I'm very happy for NewsLaundry team to speak up about the ragging case in JU. As a JU alumni , I felt upset to hear this. Being neutral is what we learn in the university. Good to see the same spirit.

Overall good discussion. Covered all major issues of Bengal and India. There could be a difference of opinion but all were unanimous on communal politics of BJP and they all gave more priority on communal politics over corruption. Is BJP a communal party ? If so, then how Muslims were 40% beneficiary for all BJP's social policies such as Home, Free fashion and Ujjala yojana. In my view BJP is the only secular party who works for all community and caste without any biasness. At least statistics suggest that. Rest all like Mamta, Congress, Kejriwal openly bat for Muslims. Weather one accepts or not, Muslim can never leave peacefully with any other religion, be it Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or Christian. Check the history of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Where Muslim prosper in India but Minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh are about to eradicate. In the middle east, Syria, Lebanon which were once Christian were majority but now they are leaving these country. Even in Europe, see how terrorism, riots and child molestation are major issue in entire europe, be it France, German, Denmark. Bottomline is, Islam cannot co-exist peacefully with any other religion because of their philosophy. Hindus/Christan/Buddist/Sikhs, all are open minded while the Muslim is 'kattar'. That's why they can't live together in peace. Root cause of India's problem is growing population and everyone know's which community is contributing this problem. Now if someone talks about that then they will be targeted as communal. No matter how much educated a Muslim is, they will still be orthodox and cannot mix openly with society. They love to stay in Ghetto. India's democracy will alive till Hindus are in majority. The moment Muslim's surpass Hindu population, it will not be a democratic nation. So to save Hindus from Muslim aggression, to keep our nation growth ( which is currently growing at a healthy pace) we need corruption free, visionary govt and for that matter we need BJP in center. In last 10 years India has improved a lot in its infrastructures, Roads, Ports, Airport, Colleges. Many miles to go and India is on right track. WE ALL WANT TO SEE INDIA AS DEVELOPED COUNTRY. IT MAY TAKE ANOTHER 20-30 YEARS BUT IF WE GET A DEDICATED GOVT WITH RIGHT POLICIES, WE WILL SURELY ACHIEVE THAT.

I was a student of the Presidency College. On the first day of the college, Poltu Dasgupta and his tribe burned down 4 buses and 6 trams because tram fare went up by 1 paisa. Next year our superintendent made it a rule that outsiders cannot enter the hostel. The Naxal students started hunger strike against the Superintendent. The college was closed down. We had a new superintendent and at least 15 followers of Comrade Kaka used to live in the hostel. They are all outsiders and they had nothing to do with the Presidency College. These students of Presidency College always have a tendency to commit suicides. This girl is the perfect example.

To identify as a follower of leftist ideology is a common thing among young generation specially Bengali youngstars to potrait a intellectual image.We have seen this trend since our school and college going time.West Bengal was under leftist regime for more than three decades.What we the ordinary people achieved from that govt.Only skrike bandh and one after another factory closed ,teagarden closed and their only excuse was " central govt depriving West Bengal". Ideology in paper and ground reality is soerate thing.Let these liberal groups to tell one word against Islamic ideology.Never say because Hindu is soft target and devided into different sects.Above all very much indifferent about religious identity.But it is history due to religious identity the two province suffered a lot in 1947.Lacks of innocent people killed brutally only for religious identity.I am not against secularism but against appeasement policy.There are so many famous academic institutions in our country but only two or three universities always breeding ground of leftist ideology.They never say anything about the illegal activities happening inside the university campus.Is it that all meritorious students belongs to few universities? IIT,IBM all are bogus institutes.To advocate in favour of some ideology is also a source of income for some of the leaders of student union or get some undue facilities whatever it may be.Knowledge about politics or other subject is not wrong but student life is not the proper time to be a practised politicians.Main focus bound to be diverted which is not good for a student.
