Hey since you have the axe io, I would like to know is there a difference in sound quality/tone if you would use a quality di box into ”normal interface” vs going into axe io when using amp sims? There’s no information available online. I’ve been thinking about getting a di box but maybe axe io could be an option.

Loved the tour! Thanks for showing us around. It reminds me a lot of my "studio and man cave next to it" (only less Aliens and more Warhammer miniatures in my case). Isn't it funny how men are hording Amps, Guitars and Nerdstuff in a very similar fashion worldwide :-) We had the conversation at a party lately that every man who could, seems gets his hobby room one day, while "woman caves" don't seem to be a similar thing.

Setup is incredible dude. When I started watching your video's way back, I actually thought you ran a music store as it totally looks like that's what's going on at first! Super impressive for just your personal studio :) But that's awesome, none of this loses it's value and you're living your dream/passion. Completely worth it!

Great space! I can fully appreciate the nerdiness of everything in this video. I think we're going to need a video going over all your whammy pedals. I have a v2 and Bass Whammy v2 which are obviously quite different but it would be great to hear the differences between all the different versions.

I have trouble enough keeping my 6 guitars set up properly can't imagine having that many guitars because it would stress me out. I pretty much just buy pedals and plugins now for my gear fix since I'm done buying guitars. Cool collection.

Killer tour brother... my favorite part of your setup is your amp collection...kickass lineup man ..very impressive...most amp guys are of the analog stomp camp through the amps to enhance the tone already there....and are anti digital but you seem to cover it all ...lol..I'm sure the modelers and gear are so much easier for you to work online and the tone and tech really have caught up...great work man...thanks for the tour🤘😁🎸👊🎶

The cable basically goes into my amp and that cancels out a fair amount of noise/ground noise. It's a simple concept but it works pretty well!

Very cool to pull back the curtain; from watching the videos, my brain just assumes that you'd have a larger space. Seeing the guitar wall so close to where you sit was a little disorienting. Such a great space and not in any way over the top. It's aspirational! My playing space is always temporary. I set it up in our spare bedroom for a few days before my wife gets annoyed with all the cables. Side note - have you ever looked at the Carvin V3 (100W) or V3M (50W) amps? I finally got a V3MC and it's really great. I understand it's based on the Mesa Boogie Mark V, without the global EQ. I don't know if you've ever come across them on your side of the pond, but I would love to get your take on one. I've been harvesting your settings from the Mark V episode, and it's gotten me some KILLER tones.

I really like your set up. It's cozy but we'll thought out. How long did it take you to get it set up the way you have it? Did you try different things before getting to this? (Like desk placement, where you chose to put your amps, etc)

Is that a humidifier on the floor (the white device)? Yes, it’s pathetic that I’m more curious about the humidifier but controlling the humidity for my guitars is the bane of my existence so I’m just curious if others are as concerned about it too 🤪
