The first opening you did was the chimera ants. A unique species of insect in that world. They have power to evolve and reproduce by eating anything and gaining its traits. One ant somehow managed to eat a human and became intelligent enough to start hunting humans. The result is an army of monsters eating everything in its path and gaining powerful abilities of the animal kingdom with human level intelligence. The hunter association was tasked with finding the source and ending the threat for good. This is after fleeing the first time after being overwhelmed. Killiua and gon were the only people to come out after the first encounter alive. Losing Kaito to the chimera royal guard. A new team was assembled from the hunter association chairmen, the underwater specialist’s head, a prison specialist, and a front line specialist, along with gon and killiua which had a few goals first find kaito or whatever is left of him, second take out the three royal guards by any means necessary, and third destroy the leadership by any means necessary. It was definitely a crazy story.

Reason really does make me feel like missing something or one. Such a good song, and it fit the theme of the anime so perfectly. (they actually played it at the last episode)

I don’t know if you have the occasion to find the translation of the end5-6's lyrics but they are powerful. Hyori Ittai by Yuzu is one of my two favorite ending songs in anime.

I think you should watch this show, it has everything. It is one of my favourites animes all along with attack on titan and Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood

i just want to share my experience when i watch the seris and the ending. the 2nd ending make your heart pump. the intro of this ending is like teasing you to watch more and like make you can not wait another week to watch the next episode. also just like you said. the intro is inspiring us to watch more and did marathon episode. the 3rd and 5th ending. i agree everything you said. just a sugestion you better watch video lyric about that ending. it will give you better understanding of these song. also deeper connection with these song. especially the guy who look like cell from dbz. bonus the 3rd and 5th ending have same singer. that is why you can feel the similarity of these song. also maybe you can video reaction watching these song with lyric. can not wait to watch your breakdown.

It'd be worth doing a '99 HxH OP and ED reaction too - there's no repeated songs. But maybe I'm being greedy here, you probably have a ton of other requests 😅 the specific OP visuals were of the second to last opening of the Chimera Ant arc. Not my favourite HxH arc, but it has a lot of mindfuckery and iconic moments. My no.1 arc would be Yorknew, where the gang come together and involve themselves with the mafia in trying to take out the 'evil' group planning to steal from an auction. Nice reaction! I did chuckle a bit when you said the jester was sexier than the Joker. You're right, but also a bit more disturbing 😅 pretty important character in the series, the only OP he dosen't show up in is the one you watched. Also my favourite character.
