I see that it's made of MDF. Does it feel durable? Are the surfaces laminate? Plastic? Are they going to peel? Does it feel cheap to the touch? Love the design.
Yes the surfaces are laminated. I don’t think it’s going to peel it doesn’t feel cheap. And I’ll say that if there is an issue with it Wavebone would definitely take care of it. Also the way I look at it as it’s only three pieces of wood I could always get some really nice finished wood and replace those three pieces. the metal construction is amazing! It’s not like other really expensive desks where you have to replace a whole bunch of stuff to fix it if something should break or go wrong. It’s the metal frame that makes this desk amazing. The price of this desk is awesome! The people at Wavebone are very responsive to emails and texts. Another words support is awesome.
Did you have to order anything separately? I'm looking to order one of these for my studio setup and see that the cable management tray and keyboard tray have separate buy options. :) Great video!
Yeah it’s really nice it’s really well-made. It’s made out of steel and wood. It comes in white black and the wood color. I wanted the white but they didn’t make one at the time so I went with the natural wood. I was getting tired of black. The keyboard troll is really cool it’s big enough for an 88 waited keyboard. But I have my Dave Smith instrument on it and vocoder.

Hi Andrew, Fungeneration RTA - 31 I got it at Thomann €90.68 = $110.65 US dollars 💵 Shipping was €30.09 = $37.94 US dollars 💵 It was delayed for a while because they had to make more. I ordered it in late November and I got it in March 2021. Lol 😂 Crazy times were living in.
I’m not quite sure how to respond to that. If you mean where there any paint or lacquer odors or anything like that emanating from the desk when the box was open that would be a big no.
