Many music teachers and students have asked me how I arrange, record and produce a complete string section. In this video, I give a 'behind the scenes' studio tour with a few of the technical details. Short story...... once a score is arranged, I record each of the parts on real instruments - violin, viola, cello & double bass. I explain here how I perform each part, multitrack, then mix and master the final product - here with my year 12 student's arrangement for school orchestra of Nimrod from the Enigma Variations.
