STUDIO VLOG ✤ Im changing my business....my business plan for 2023 (Here's what I am going to do) 

I kind of already said this in your Poland vlog, but I’m going to say it again! My mom got me some items from your shop for Christmas, and it was so special i almost cried! I have gingie sitting on my bed and he feels like my cheer leader to keep going, keep doing art, and reach my goals!

I’m a big fan of your work and vibe and as someone who has worked with retail stores on gifting and products for nearly 2 decades, this is how they used to plan for occasion date releases: Straight after Christmas until the day- Valentines Straight after Valentines- Mother’s Day/Easter (used to pretty much do these together) Straight after Easter- Father’s Day Start of June- summer holidays/ bbq/ vacation vibe ranges Start of Sept- Halloween (not until kids go back to school!) Mid Oct- Christmas (used to be Nov 1st onwards but people start early!) Hope all the 2023 launches go well for you- keep up the good work!

You're so much better at planning than me! It's such a good feeling publishing your own book, I finally wrote and illustrated my first book a few weeks ago. Good luck with yours, I'm sure it will be amazing!

that kind of fringe you have is very popular in the states right now especially among the "indie, cottage-core/alt" community. they'll have a fringe like that and a mullet in the back and its super cute. :D

also I'd love to see how you are going to use the Emily Journal to plan your new collections and stuff!

Sitting down and planning the whole year ahead sounds like such a good idea, I’m unfortunately such an indecisive person that come march id of changed my mind about everything 🙈

Would you consider doing a southern hemisphere calendar? i.e reorder the pages so they align with the seasons in the southern half of the world? I know that would be a lot more effort, but would be awesome!

Hello! I had planned out my year as well about 2 years ago. A major word of advice! Cut your work load down even more. Things will happen and I feel like you may be over loading yourself. Cars break down or accedents happen, products have errors, illness happens, computers break (BTW back up your computers. I just had this happen myself and the potential to loose everything is there.), people will have parties and weddings, you may start that family you've been wanting, and life just happens. Make sure you have time for it. Your ambitious and that's a good thing. But I would suggest making 2 catagories when planning for the year. The must dos and the would like to dos. The would like to dos are a bit like sprinkles on top of a cake and it feels good to add them. They are like streatch goals to see how far you can get. That also takes the stress off of you to get as much done if you just can't because your mental and physical health matters, but also your non-work goals matter too. Be kind to yourself if you can't get everything done. OK? Big hugs.

How about family planning stickers? School breaks, no school, doctors appointments, etc.

Wow, you have a printer who does proofing! That's fantastic. Keeping it local Really pays. The calendar is adorable and your outline planning is Next Level, it's really good.

How are you planning on publishing your book self publish or via a publishing house? Re suggestions for the planner stickers - bin night reminders, not sure how it works where you are but we have different weeks when we can put out green waste, recycling and general rubbish then there's council collections for bulk items or wood chipping.

The way you were working would be unsustainable in the medium- to long-term, and Katnipp needs to be sustainable for you. I'd love to see some more weather planner stickers, like lots of small ones that can be used everyday to track the weather where all of the stickers are roughly the same size (I feel like the ones u currently stock are just a little too large for my planner since I tend to write a lot everyday, and there are a little too few a sheet for me to try using daily)

Hey Catherine, it would be nice to have holiday-themed pin banners for the holiday-based pins you create.

This year I am trying the same. To be 3 months before the holidays. I say it every year and how time just creeps up and bites you. My word for the year is Focus, and that is what I am going to do. Hey, you! I LOVE the goal setting! It looks so beautiful! (So does the 2023 calendar!!!) You have a lot to do next year! You might consider using a kanban board to help keep track of your tasks. You might check out the HB90 Bootcamp run by Sara Cannon at Heart Breathings. She is an author, runs two RU-vid channels, and posts on multiple social media platforms. I'm not going to say that she's perfect at managing those things, but a lot of the small business people who have taken her course have found it to be incredibly useful for managing multiple tasks. :D Delegating is good for the soul! I support anything that helps you balance your workload. I love watching your channel! You are such an inspiration! I'll be cheering you on throughout 2023!!

Thank you for sharing. Just completed my 2 full year of being a full time artist/small business and have planned ahead 10-12 mths of my work in terms of production, which helped my weekly schedule. But I realized in Nov/Dec it really affected my personal life negativity. So need to adjust and realized sometimes the schedule is good to have as a guide. Things keep changing and it's good, as life changes. I'm thankful for you sharing your goals, achievements and struggles, as we all have them. Have a wonderful New Year!
