Welcome back to my channel and to a another studio vlog! This studio vlog is going to be a little different to my usual studio vlogs - I've experimented with the editing style as well as the concept of this video. In this video, I strive to push the boundaries of my art because I've found it getting stale and repetitive lately. SO! Join me in this journey and why not grab a cosy hot drink while you're at it?!
I really hope you guys enjoy this art making vlog and seeing my creative process; and I hope it inspires you to try something similar in your own creative practice.

This was such a wonderful vlog Jo! Really enjoyed hearing all your thoughts about creating and I love all of the work you showed, especially those incredible patchwork paintings! What an inspiring video! I love your landscape paintings - the looseness of your paint strokes combined with the vivid color palettes are so beautiful and refreshing. I also just wanted to say the video editing (clipping along with the music) and new music choices in this video were really fun and worked so well - I love the music as well as the moments of peacefulness - really great balance there. I can't wait for your next painting vlog!

So glad you enjoyed the video Carina!😊💕 Making art for ourselves is certainly a challenge with all of the pressure we can put ourselves under - especially with social media to think about too. It's a really tricky thing to do - I find it really hard to get into this headspace too, but when you can push past the fear and perfectionism it's SO rewarding! You'll get there Carina! xx
