I came here from Morgan Long's channel, and I just want to express how grateful I feel for such people like you two existing. Your videos - no, your entire lives - are so inspiring that they make me want to leave all that makes me unhappy and hide in a cottage in the woods, to heal my soul and feed my creativity.

The Girl Who Drank the Moon is one of my favorite middle grade books and maybe even books in general! I also recommend the audiobook. The voices really make it come alive. I love reading along while listening to audiobooks ☺️

Loved this video Randi as it is another wet day in PDX and I needed this to lift me up to greet the day. I really enjoyed watching the bee gather pollen and of course watching you create your art. I am partial to your woodland animals so the fox reading with the book shelf is just delightful. I love it! I think I would enjoy the book "Fox and I" as well. I am behind in my reading and goodness I can relate to your need for the sunshine. It definitely lifts my spirits and gives me more energy. You also went to some of my favorite spots in PDX. Love that stationary shop and I have eaten at Harlow on Hawthorne after visiting Powells. Just so much fun to do. Try to enjoy this wet Friday and weekend. The sunshine returns next week! It gives us more time to sit down this weekend with a good book and cup of comforting tea. :) Cheers friend!

Randi, I think an author you (and Morgan) might like (and perhaps have read before) is Gladys Taber. She was a Creative Writing Professor and lived in NYC until she and her best friend bought a house in the country in Connecticut (called Stillmeadow) where she proceeded to write about their life with dogs and gardening and all things really. They are older books and my grandmother introduced me to them years ago (she and Gladys wrote back and forth to each other). My favorite is called The Stillmeadow Road. 💕

Inspired! Along with your artwork, I especially loved your video clips with the bees. Those little buggers are more difficult to capture than people may think and you did a marvelous job. I've been working on bee drawings so I've got some experience trying to take pictures of them. Your images are so close to them! They do love to fly out of the viewfinder ;) I actually love that about them, that is the way they go about their business not caring that there is a human just inches away trying to take their picture :) Have a wonderful day.
