Hi so sorry you had a crappy week, I will say it was quite entertaining and well at least your not afraid to show the good and the bad of being a small handmade business which I prefer channels like this. Your cutting mat and rotary blade are a problem. You need to purchase an Olfa self healing mat, the cheaper ones are not self healing they may say it but they actually are not and all those cheaper mats will do is chew up your blade and so therefore your fabric won't cut properly. If you had a PO Box I'd send you one from Australia. Once one side is completely used up I turn it over and use the other side and I never cut in the same place over too many times because they can cut through. I hope this helps not tryna be a hater, I have a small handmade business too and well we should all take care of each other. :)

You need to change blade. When the blade is getting stuck on the fabric like that That means your blade is dull So you're gonna have to change your blade out. Just food for thought.

I'm sorry this happened to you. That guy was a jerk!!! As for your tent, I have something similar and what do is leave the canopy on. I had happened to have a clear plastic bag and used it to cover the tent. Then I take a bungee cord and wrap it around to secure everything in place. Super easy! 😊

Oh lovey. They were looking at that man being mental. I’m so sorry that you had to deal with that. As someone who does the majority of my markets alone putting up the tent can be a huge pain. Usually other vendors are willing to help at least at the markets I’ve been at.

That was criminal damage at the very least and honestly, I would report him for it and for how he treated you, which was intimation also. That was completely appalling behaviour and he should not get away with it. He was obviously looking to pick a fight and sounds like a misogynistic asshole (sorry for the language....but he was, teehee). I'm sure the car park or local shops have cctv. I 'd report him to the police but being a legal secretary for over a decade, maybe that would just be me and most people wouldn't bother, lol. I completely understand that you might want to just move on from it. Grrrrr......I have zero tolerance for bullies and nasty men. I bet he wouldn't have done that if Alex was in the car. I am incredibly sorry that you had to experience that, I can tell how awful it was for you. And as far as your cutting mat goes, I mentioned it in a previous video, but I have been using my cutting mats from The Works for years and years, and I cut a lot of fabric. They are great. And if I do wear through one, I don't feel bad replacing it because they are pretty inexpensive. Hope that helps. Lee xx

Excuse my language but what an ass that man was. That’s harassment and I wish someone had stepped in to defend you instead of watching. I am 67 years old (female) and watched a female store security wrestling with a male thief in parking lot and grown men just watching. I stepped in to help her!! I just don’t understand people anymore. You are so talented and wonderful young lady. A little cry helps. 😊
