Thank you for posting this. Very helpful to watch. I was wondering how close the booth can be to a wall while it is being built. You do not seem to need space to walk between the house wall and the booth to build it, so it can be built quite near the room wall. Is this the standard version or the pro version? Could you let us know how things are going with your room? Any new observations since you have built it?
Hi, John! Thanks for the kind words. I apologize for the delay in my reply. My booth is a custom size, measuring 7' x 6'. You need at least 6 inches between the booth and the wall. My article gives a lot more details about planning the space and other considerations for the booth installation. www.karencommins.com/2021/06/assembly-tips-for-custom-size-studiobricks-booths.html Since this booth is a double-walled unit, it's better insulated than my WhisperRoom was, which means that it's also warmer inside while recording. Fortunately, I've been able to run both fans on the 2nd lowest setting without affecting the sound quality. I hope this info helps.
what are the dimensions of your studio? outside and inside. I'm moving and I don't want to build another studio anymore, in my new house I have a large bedroom of four meters by four meters and the size of your studio bricks easily fits in there.
Hi, Derk! My Studiobricks exterior measures 7' x 6'. My studio room measures 17.5' x 14.25', which would be approximately 5.334m x 4.3434m. You'd probably want to get a smaller booth for your space. I hope this info helps.
