@Nick, Do you think the Studson helmet is capable of of multiple hits or impacts? Or is it like a petzl and is a one hit throwaway? I ask as my Phanner Protos has held up great for years, even after falling off a tailgate a few times and multiple snaphook contacts and have had a Petzl Stratos fall only a few feet and completely fail.
How is this Safety Helmet treating you so far? Our company went with this exact helmet. It's gray with the black trim & company logo. Working out in the commercial & Industrial construction jobsites.
If it accepts standard ear muffs, you can likely get a mesh face shield and carrier that attaches to slots in the earmuff bracket. I have a kask super plasma and use husqvarna earmuffs (made by MSA) and face shield. My work provides the Husqvarna forestry helmets but I bought my own kask. Swapped the face and ear protection over. Can't see how the same wouldn't work for the Studson. Would be interested to know if it has a face shield that doesn't require muffs to be on the helmet though.
@@pproh608 I have the super plasma too. Hooked a branch on the ear muffs the fourth time wearing. Totally ripped it off, cracked helmet. Tree Stuff pretty much told me I’m s.o.l. $175 down the drain. So I’m done with both of those companies. But I think you may be right about muffs accepting the mesh visor. Cheers.
I'd love to use this helmet, specially already having so many physical disabilities. I really can't afford another head injury. Unfortunately I've got that nagging problem so many people have. My banker keeps telling me that if I want to spend money that I need to put money in the bank. I honestly don't get it. They always say I don't have money but every time I go in a bank I see all kinds if money and why did they give me all them checks if I can't even dribble them? Beats me but that's why I can't use one of those kick ass hats....
