Hi Ankur, this video was literally incomplete without the 7th point!! I being an international student until last year… have worked over 5-6 part time jobs… and the best part which I think differentiates India and an American country (or any developed country) is the mindset of the people. They would treat you the same way as they would treat any white collar job people. But, yes, you become a complete person as you have to do all your chores all by yourself, be it even if you arrive home after a freaking 14-15 hours of shift. If any one of you wanna come- welcome to the land of opportunities but also be prepared to rub yourself as nothing comes easy!!

Yes Warikoo sir, we do need a second part of studying abroad in which you can discuss about the procedures, the necessary EXAMS, Letters, EXAM COURSES/SYLLABUS and minimum marks to apply for. Please consider these things as they would help many, including me who wish to study abroad :)

@ ankur warikoo , I as a 26 year old wanted to hear this today because I was in dilemma whether to go abroad for masters (despite having an admit from a German University) or to stay back in India & start something new (which can be done either ways) Thank you !!!

Loved your video sir and can completely relate! However for my son I have following questions - 1) shall we consider foreign education right from bachelors degree? Am sometimes scared how can a 18 yr old cope up in a foreign country! (May sound lame but this thought comes into mind considering home sickness, worried about friend circle, free usage of drugs / weed in some part of the world). The maturity to not get attracted to wrong things and understand what is good and what isn’t….. etc etc 2) US education system has a pattern. UK has its own pattern and Australia is said to have fused with these 2 patterns. I am almost 24 now, my dad has a home loan, I help him to pay back the loan and I work as a software engineer, after watching this video I want to pursue MS from abroad but given my situation, I don't think it's a good idea to give up with a well-paying job. PS. My dad never asked me to pay. I feel like I should and want to continue doing that.

I think lot of people are confused whether they should come to the US or not if you are Indian or Chinese. Do you want the one line answer? Ok, I will give you the answer first: DON'T COME TO THE US! Now let's move to the explanations. Let me tell you what happens with most people who come to the US. They come to study and then they want to stay. This happens with most. If you think I am wrong ask the Indian or Chinese people who currently come to study here. So you will come to study here and then want to stay here. To do this you will have to be on H1B visa. And to have H1B visa after 6 year limit you will need an I140(a Greencard application). Living on an H1B is hard since you depend on the employer to keep your status. Now you have to do this until you get a Greencard. For Indians the wait is 195 years(LET THAT SINK IN) and about 18 years for Chinese. It is EXTREMELY stressful to be on H1B while you wait for the Greencard. Your health will suffer immensely. Don't understand why some people still keep telling Indians and Chinese to come, study and work in the US. Once you marry and have kids while on H1B it becomes harder to leave the US. There is no hope for Indians and Chinese in US. So don't waste your time and money coming here. Many Presidents have come and gone and promised changes but no changes have come in the last 20 years but no one cares for the plight of Indians and Chinese. Trust me don't push yourself and your family into a Black hole that people of Indian and Chinese origin have pushed themselves for DECADES waiting for the Greencard!! People of other countries get the Greencard in less than a year. So I shall repeat again: NO NO NO! Don't come to the US. Don't waste your time and your and parents hard earned money. US will use and throw you. If you want to live, study and work abroad. Go to a country which has a good immigration policy like Canada, which grants Greencard in 5 years.

Hello sir, I doing a job in an IT Company (for past 2 years). I want to study abroad but I'm not having the financial (have little saving 5-6lac) and also having family depenedies. Should I consider taking loan and go for MS for 2 years? Or should I try to get a High paying job and then save money from that then go for studies? (Read your book: it's a daily dose of learning for me, I just open a random page mostly and it empowers me to rule my day)

Hello, Ankur sir. I think the entire series of study abroad did motivate me to apply, and I ended up getting into a good school. It’s just the idea of taking a loan makes me think that it binds me for those years, which I am not ready for. I have been following you since warikoo Wednesday and Friday nights. I did reach out for a scholarship with Leverage. They don’t deal with LSE because it’s not part of their tier listing. I am passionate about my course, but I am not able to find a scholarship and don’t wish to take a liability. I think your excels have made me understand the power of money today. Hi sir, The only 2 reasons which stop me from trying to go abroad for studying are 1)high tution fee..although i belong to a finacially stable family and my father is ready to pay the fees but i dont want him to spend so much of money , i always think that ill only go abroad once i have enough money to manage my expenses there..pls tell me if its the right way of thinking or not...also im in 12th grade and i really dont know what my passion iss so maybe thats the reason im not liking my father to spend so much money on something which even i dont know whether it is right course for me or not 2) im afraid of racism..i have heard of indians being killed in the US and some other countries.. It all sounds Rosie, what about the 35lac funding needed? People like me who are branded as talented has to firefight family circumstances, be the breadwinner and get an education. These are possible for the better placed individuals, not that I don't want it. I can't afford it.

Abroad is only for those who prioritize money over anything. You can definitely get exposure, more connections and many more thing but if you're someone who want to add value to society. Then do something in INDIA. I'M currently doing my bacelor's in Computer science in LONDON

None of these reason are worth putting yourself in extreme debt and some of the reason don't even require you to leave the country. The few good reason given were path citizenship(extremely difficult) and exposure to a truly international experience. Be very careful and do your due diligence watching a YT video isn't part of the due diligence, it's edutainment, it's like a brochure not the book.
