For me I always wanted to start learning Korean and I started learning like 3 or 4 months ago but bc of school I don't have time to study it , but tbh this video really helpful I love you Nini :3 💞
To everyone who is thinking about learning Korean: IT IS NOT AS HARD AS YOU THINK. i used the same website as nina and it took me only five months to finish 4 units. I didn't study everyday and when i did, I would usually only study for about two hours. I was even too lazy to take notes. Getting back to the point, Korean is REALLY hard in the start. Of those five months, it took me 2 and a half months just to finish unit one. The next three units are really easy. I was somehow even able to learn 8 lessons in one day towards the end! So if you're off to a slow start, just know that your hard work is paying off more than you think.

ive been studying korean for like 6 months now and the grammar is killing me and it really unmotivates me, so every time before im about to study i watch your study videos just to get motivation its quite helpful
Having a lot of context definitely helps! I’m ARMY and I watch a lot of BTS content and k dramas so usually phrases words or even tweets come to mind when I learn something new. Like Namjoon saying 나도 to J-Hope in a tweet when he received the same collectible figure. And you just learned refreshed what 도 so I instantly thought of that lol. I love it!! :D Go Nina!! 💜💪🏽
Hi Nina~ I have been studying + learning the Korean language in reading writing and speaking since 2017 The key to Mastering the conversational level is memorizing a vast amount of korean vocabulary. It’s easy for some but can be difficult for most. At my career job I am in sales marketing and some of my clients are actually Korean natives 아줌마s& 할머니s and they always first speak to me in Korean language only. When I get stuck on my vocabulary they tell me how much I have improved my conversation and I will be able to become fluent if I live in South Korea 😅 some are joking some are D word serious. Btw I live in New York City so I was able to go to the Korean neighborhoods and restaurants to get more firmly comfortable with hearing everyday Korean conversations...{ Pre-COVID-19 } 💕💕✨🤏🏽

I took the tip of studying lyrics from you but I write the korean first, then I traslate the words I dont know and then I try to write the traslation myself. Then I get the real translation and check :D
one of my favourite apps for studying languages is semper, you link it to quizlet and it makes you answer a question every time you unlock your phone! it's very useful for learning vocabulary in languages, but it could also be useful for other things instead, especially if you're usually busy and don't have enough time to properly sit down any study, it also means that you can go over things more often so you'll remember it better :)
same im so lazy now i can't believe i used to wake up at 5am, brain crunch for 8hours, train, get home at 7, and then do more homework. All i do now is nothing. But it makes me realize how sleep deprived I was.

hi Nina! I'm Brazilian and I've been studying English for about 2 years now, and one of the most difficult things to learn was food vocabulary/cooking vocabulary, and one thing that helped a LOT was watch recipes in English on RU-vid, or tv shows like Masterchef, I think this could help you in Korean too ☺ (btw, I'm also studying Korean)
I love how you do the lyrics study, for me I wouldn't know most of the words, or grammar structures but I'd still do it so I can read over periodically to see what I start to recognise as I do pick up what I have learnt so far in lyrics
I started studying Korean this summer over break, and it's been so rewarding! I've tried other times in the past, but I always seemed to give up after the first session. This has been the first time that I've actually kept with it and felt good doing it. Your videos were a huge inspiration to me in the beginning and I want to thank you so much for this series
