sir please make a video on good online coaching that will be good for guidance regarding gate DA PREPARATION. AND PLEASE COMMENT ON THE NEW GATE DA COURSE INTRODUCED BY GEEK FOR GEEKS
Das Bhaiya, this is the best video for Gate DA paper, I found on RU-vid. You mentioned two resources for Machine Learning. Both are excellent, but we have less time to prepare. What playlist should we follow for ML?
Sir since it is an interdisciplinary course and i am from mechanical background looking forward to appear for DA as my Second paper will the level of questions be same as for those in CS ?
@@kishalaydas Bhaiya, ek aur request aap se - aap na isro ke liye vi ek series banao. avi vi isro exam-date announce nhi kiya he. Isro preparation strategy, books and resources for isro exam, isro related jaankari kaha milega ta ki isro related current affairs ke bare me hum aware rahe, written exam ke baad interview ke liye kya karna chahihe.... stuff like that. Your guidance is very much helpful to us in this time.🫶
You can follow any standard resources of DSA, what u follow for CSE preparation. What I follow u will find in the descriptions of the follwoing video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r-jbZJkPecA.html
Thanks it's very helpful but can you tell me that any class we have to join many channels they provide classes of Gate in ds ai so joining the class is value of money or not,?
You can join any of them. What I feel about coaching is, coaching helps to understand topics quickly. If you do self study may be u need more time to get a topic, there coaching helps. But overall they contribute max 30% of the preparation. Rest 70% is self study. Hence whichever u join, most of the efforts you have to putfrom ur end
Does the Patern recognision course of PS Sastry sir contains all the syllabus of DA paper? Ridge and logistic regression, cross validation etc? Because I cant find it
No it contains everything. You need to study them in details to get those. I guess in regression part, Ridge and logistic regression is there (around lecture number 11-13). cross validation is there at the end.
@@deeprajmazumder6261 There are many resources for DSA. You can follow many NPTEL lectures, like one by prof Navin Garg IITD is really good. There are many lectures by foreign universities, many free youtube videos also available. Just search for it, you will get it. Also there are many standard books as well.
@kishalaydas because if I follow a Swayam Nptel lecture, there the professor mainly recommends these two books 1. "The Elements of Statistical Learning" Or 2. "Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning Book" by Christopher Bishop and I found out that "An Introduction to Statistical Learning in Python" is a good book to start with. So, ultimately, the big question is, which book should I refer to as one textbook to follow in line with nptel lectures?
Yes, Elements of Statistical Learning is also a good book and many profs refer to this. But if you follow book by Christopher Bishop or Murfi, I feel that sufficicent. Now there are many books you can refer apart from these two. As you know there is no limit of learning.
Hello thank you for providing this information .I wanted to ask can I only do the topics mentioned in Gate DA syllabus and skip other things in resources you mentioned? Does gate strictly follows the syllabus?
Read CSE syllabus for DSA. Only practice python a bit for Python For Practice Follow this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9jL4SkAJFXY.html
@@kishalaydas Thanks for that Here you are referring to solve C previous year question papers. But i think so many things are different in Python when we compared to C so questions would be different. And i also belongs to Mechanical Branch so need more help on this.
For programming questions in gate, your logical understanding will be tested. Not the C or python syntax. Obviously you need to know python but basic coding logic and reasoning you can understand by solving previous year C questions. Hence I suggest that. Also C is tougher as it has pointers which python doesnot have.
As I already replied to your previous comments, ACE academy is really good for offline coaching. I am not sure whether they provide recorded lectures or not. If they do, you can definitely go for it.
Hello Sir, I wanna start my preparation from scratch from November, can i cover the syllabus, i have a Mathematics background too, can your course really guide me strategically?
I mentioned in video it as data mining. I didnot find any standard resource. I suggest take each topic, search for tutorials and videos on that topic and prepare for it.
Can i get by only watching the lecture videos for probability and statistics ? Because i am only starting to prepare now and i dont think i have enough time to go threw the books
sir i am a mechanical graduate, and i want to appear for this DA & Ai paper ( GATE 2025 ), i have gone through the syllabus provided by the gate and i am comfortable with the math and the programing and data structure part of the syllabus , but rest of the syllabus i have no idea about as i have never studied those. Please sir can you make a video upon this topic sharing your view on how difficult/feasible this paper is for someone who is not from COMPUTER SCIENCE BACKGROUND ! and if it is possible for a non-cse candidate, can you guide a roadmap to succeed in this exam and things like if any coaching is required over self study; also about how is CDS department different from DS & Ai. i am really looking for your answer, please kindly address it . thanks for your awesome work.
1) AI/ML if you are not comfortable, dont take DA paper as your main paper. Try it as second paper. 2) If you are not from CSE, you might face difficulties in DSA and DBMS part. Other than that Math is common for all. And ML is new for all, even if you have studies in Btech. 3) Roadmap is diffcult to say, follow normal preparation strategy. If you are confused how to follow, I think coaching will definitely help you.
