The degree is automatically accepted as it is an "EEA nation" so most EEA medical degrees are accepted. The list of EEA automatically recognised countries is on the GMC website.
For anyone wondering about btec qualifications, Sofia medical university and Trakia medical university accept btec qualifications with sufficient biology and chemistry content. However, before you go for the more expensive option of studying abroad please do consider foundation programmes like Bristol, Plymouth, and HYMS. The British Army also offer bursaries for med/dent/nursing/pharm school in instalments of £10,000 throughout university as long as you come back to practice with them for 4 years in the UK.

What are your thoughts on Med connect Europe? Do they charge much? I have contact with an agency called Inter hecs. They seem nice, have you heard of them? I myself am thinking to study dentistry in Bulgaria.
Hello I selected Plovdiv because I liked their course structure compared to the other 2 universities and that it is a smaller city in the centre of Bulgaria. I used medconnect in 2018 and they are amazing- they still provide me with continuous support. The main thing you should look at when applying through an agency is how much they are going to support you once you come to Bulgaria. Some agencies kind of just ditch you here and leave.
