I am from South Africa, unemployment graduate, I feel like I am not good in any particular talent,I am dependant of knowledge and my brain, now how do I learn skills like Java programming fast?
Jim in these modern times we learn through technical devices like cell phones and computers, so how do we stay focused when studying with our distractions?

Jim! I just started your Mindvalley course. It's exactly what I needed. Practicing the FAST method helped so much, I'm a senior software engineer and I kept skipping over topics in my interview studies because I learned them at some point in the past and it stressed me out to review them again. Now I'm re-learning and re-mastering these topics with a fresh mind. Thank you.
Hi TALONFORCE, i am fresher in full stock developer. Could you please tell me on which programming language or technology you are working ? I need your help and guidelines
I cannot thank u enough M. Jim kwik, my personal brain coach. I'm preparing to start my undergraduate program at 39. All your tips, techniques are already putting me in the right direction. I cannot wait to fully apply all your tips come January 2023. Humbly grateful to u. Thank u again.
At the age of 54, and having been diagnosed with Dyslexia & ADHD, this RU-vid posting is fantastic, thank you. I am studying at the moment and omg, everything goes in and OUT …
My students and I are profited from your life work, Jim. Thank you for persevering as a youth and young adult, and for deciding to build your understanding...and teach from it.
Really helpful tips, thanks Jim. On a little note about brain fog, for some people, brain fog is not just about getting enough oxygen in their bodies. It is a bigger issue that can be very debilitating. Words and letters get mixed up, and sometimes reading comprehension is not even possible. Audio learning can also be impacted by brain fog. I wonder if there is a way you can express temporary lapses in concentration and learning because of oxygen or environment vs a debilitating condition so as not to minimize the impact brain fog has on those really struggling.
Yup, it can be caused by some deficiency also. My intense brain fog and depression that lasted two years cleared away after having vitamin b complex and D.
I'm really grateful that I came across this channel. I don't even know how I landed on this, I was looking for something else and tapped into this outstanding unlocking information. It has really answered my questions and I do reflection on how I used to be and realize that I can now get back to that line. Much Obliged Mr. Jim Kwik, I can't thank you enough🤝🙏
I followed these tips for last month's class I was enrolled in and it worked. I shared the technique with the other students on how to study effectively. Thank you so much!
I was a Registered nurse in the US for 42 years. Three years was in a neuroICC, I witnessed it all. We had a teaching technique regarding how to perform certain procedures. Watch one, do one, teach one. It never left me. You emulate that philosophy. I recently retired to Italy, a full time resident. I left America behind for a life in a beautiful small village. No guns. I have struggled to learn the Italian language but tomorrow i have a lesson with my language tutor. Your video is so helpful, I will engage with your network because I believe her instruction along with your information will be a combined effort to make the most of this opportunity. Grazie mille.
It's interesting how practical I have been in my years of school. I literally did all these to improve my retentional and understanding of notes. Fun part is I never knew these were actually useful. I just did them because I thought it could. Here am I looking for the how.

PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE NOTE-TAKING Be active. Learning is an active process, not a passive one. The same principle applies to note-taking. Know your purpose. Knowing why you want to take notes will help you do it well and remember more. Have a hierarchy. Have a way to prioritize what’s important. Be organized. You remember better when the information is organized. Use your own words. Other than not taking notes at all, taking notes verbatim is the worst way of taking note. Develop a system. The best note-takers have their own systems, which improves the speed of their note-taking. Use abbreviations, symbols, etc. Filter. Differentiate between what’s important and what is just fluff.
Very interesting vid! I was a guitar teacher for many years, and have been interested in the learning process for years too... I think in general, we don't teach kids enough about ... learn how to learn... partly by keeping curiosity alive.... anyhoo, seems to me, like this fella Jim Kwik, seems to really know what he's talking about... I'm going to try some of these techniques for sure...cheers

I'm a professional and I am learning new language (Kazakh). I learn the most through active conversations with natives and through teaching others. I still struggle with retaining or rather retrieving vocabulary.
Three stages of studying: Before, During, After 1. Before: - Begin with the end in mind: What are the outcomes of this studying? - Relax your by listening soft music 2. During: - Avoid distractions: turn off cell phones, do not study in the bed - Manage time and energy using pomodoro technique 3. After: - Active recall - Teach others people
