heyo just a quick question, you said you felt ap physics is easier than ap chem, why? i’m taking ap chem rn and i’m considering taking ap physics next year but i’m not really a math/science person so just wondering how they compare. very chill vid btw :D
hey! i think ap physics is easier because the concepts stick quickly to me. so far, we’ve mostly focused on energy and law of motion if that piques your curiosity or not! overall, it doesn’t take me too long to grasp new concepts and if i’m confused, i just watch a few videos, practice problems, or search up other resources which does the trick. i did the same thing with chem too but it definitely took me longer to understand the confusing concepts there vs how i am with physics. that’s mostly for me though, as it can be different for everybody! i feel like it may be what you prefer. both chem and physics have many equations to memorize and apply to the concepts you’re learning. i do think that physics has more math involved though. every unit so far has a new equation to learn/sometimes memorize (formula sheet) while in chem, not every unit had a math equation related to it. so like you said about not being a math person, it may not be your absolute favorite as it’s pretty math heavy! one thing i sometimes say is that you never know until you try. personally, i didn’t think i would enjoy physics but i still decided to give it a shot and it’s not as bad as i thought it would be. i know some people who didn’t like chem but liked physics and vice versa. if you have the time, you can try researching a bit of physics on your own (doesn’t have to be a lot but just some basics or a few videos) to have a glimpse of what you could be learning and if it’s something you do want to learn more about 🫶🫶
