Study With Me | 2 hours real time, 25/5 pomodoro, no music, background noise 

A lil tip for the breaks: do literally nothing. Stare at a wall or close your eyes, do not use your phone or watch a video or whatever. I found that this way, I get much more brain rest. (And yes, I do use some breaks in other ways, but this is quite helpful if my brain is really screaming at me to stop working.)

To everyone who's studying with this : Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • A tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 •Also Blue light glasses or changing to the night time setting on your device helps 👓 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖 I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. I'm an older Millennial in grad school, and I had been thinking the concept of study-with-me videos are kind of silly... but I had never actually tried one. This is my first one (I'm studying to be an elementary teacher, taking a math-education class this semester)... and I'm surprised how much of a "study mood" it is putting me in! It's like studying with a friend but ACTUALLY studying without the distraction of wanting to talk!

I want to learn japanese too so I'll probably use this again but today is a little special kind of study : I'm looking for what i want to do professionally so I will do personnality tests, explore career counseling sites, watch videos on professions that could fit me etc. 🕵‍♀

This was really very helpful because it keeps me motivated and reminds me that I also have a study buddy! I wasn't able to focus before this because I just studied for like half an hour and got distracted and this kept on. But after this, I feel like there is also someone who is studying like me. And thus it helps me focus more.
