Study with Me (2hrs, real time, pomodoro, gentle white noise) | Rachel Southard 

As you may or may not know, I'm studying for USMLE Step 1/COMLEX Lvl 1 (aka lots and lots of studying). I decided to upload video of me annotating my First Aid book (standard boards resource). I didn't include the noises of my pens/book because I live in an apartment complex and my neighbors were extra loud while I was filming this. But please enjoy some gentle, real white noise (not artificial), and set your laptop up in front of you and it'll look like I'm studying face-to-face with you. Rachel I hope you know you don't owe us anything by skipping a week or two of uploading during your exam preparation period. I'm only in undergrad studying for the MCAT rn and tbh I dont know if I'd be able to do what you're doing on top of studying all day! Please don't think you're not making the videos "long enough" or whatever, you're doing more than just great. Good luck on your studies, and don't forget to take a moment for yourself too!

Please let me tell you how satisfying it is to study with you. Like your videos inspire me so much. I just wish I was as near and focused as you. I feel like I’m on my phone constantly and I’m trying to break that habit but I always seem to find myself back on my phone when I’m bored. Do you have any advice for me to break this habit?

If I set 2 hours then I be like 20 mins: checks phone 40 mins: watches youtube 1st hour: drinks a lot of water 1 and 5 minutes: pees it all out 1 and 20 minutes: takes a shower 1 and 40 minutes: decides to study Thinks again: what will 20 minutes get me? *continues to watch tv till 2 hours are over* This is why I couldn't ever be a med student
